My sister sells Avon and occasionally I purchase items from her. I liked the colors in this eye shadow quad so I purchased one. The colors looked great in the quad and are a cream type consistency. They are easy to apply but once on the eyelid they appear lighter than in the quad. Even with multiple applications, the color did not look "true to color" on my eyelid. I found I had to use an eye shadow primer with the eye shadows in this quad as the eye shadow color fades fast and I found myself having to re-apply my eye shadow throughout the day. I have been pretty happy with other Avon products I have purchased. This one was just okay for me. I do not like having to carry a lot of make up products with me in my purse, so I was disappointed when this eye shadow color did not last as long as I expected it to. It did not run but just seemed to fade away. I will not be purchasing this product again nor would I recommend it to others.

I haven't used an "Avon lady" for about 10 years, but my mom gave me a catalog that was left at her door so I checked it out and placed an order.  I bought a couple different mascaras and two eyeshadow quads.  So far, everything has been just okay, just like this eyeshadow. **Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad - Smoky Eyes **contains four colors that go together pretty well - white, pale pink, light gray and charcoal gray.  Charcoal gray has a very slight shimmer to it, but the other three colors are matte. The quality of these eyeshadows are just okay.  There's not very much pigment to them, so you have to apply several coats to get the color you want.  I don't use the pink color; I primarily use the white, light gray and charcoal gray.  The colors last an average amount of time on your face, but nothing special.  I need to reapply once or twice throughout the day, so it definitely doesn't last as long as my higer-end eyeshadows.  But you get what you pay for when it comes to make-up. I would compare this eyeshadow to that of Maybelline or CoverGirl - not horrible, but not high-quality either.  I probably wouldn't buy another Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad again, but I would recommend them to someone that is looking for something inexpensive or comparable to drug store eyeshadow.
