Well, I suppose you could consider me biased since I am a 5 year seller of Avon. That being said, this stuff is teriffic!

I am not into pushy Avon sales, but this hand cream is the one thing I have sold the most of in the 5 years I have been selling. Even my Dad thinks it's great!

My current boss is also into this product and she buys it whenever it is on sale. She prefers the small tubes for her purse and the larger for at home use.

I personally use this product and have found that it lasts even after hand washing. It has a pleasant, but not perfumey smell. That makes it great for anyone to use!

I am an Avon lover, so when i saw this product on sale i had to get it.  Sad to say though, this product does not work for me.  The Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream is like vaseline except it's not that greasy.  It absorbs fast which is a good point, but the bad thing is that my hands get dry right away again.  I have to keep reapplying this but with no difference in the results.  I'm not going to buy this again, on sale or not.

A Must Have For My Dry Winter Skin

Profile Image

By

from Eagle River, AK

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

My husband and I have dry skin, and during the winter months my hands get red and sore. They get so dry that they actually hurt! A few years ago I was selling Avon, and when they had a sale on their Moisture Therapy Hand Cream, my customers went crazy! I was selling this stuff like hotcakes, it was nothing to have 50 bottles in one Avon order! I had never tried the hand cream myself, so I started asking my customers why they loved it so much. Everyone was in agreement that Moisture Therapy was the remedy for dry, chapped, irritated hands.

Of all my customers, the one who made the most impact on me was my neighbor. He is a carpenter, and is outside in all kinds of weather conditions, and his hands are always rough and dry. He used to use Neutrogena, and said that the Moisture Therapy was very similar to the Neutrogena, and it worked just as well on his hands. I figured if it helped his hands, then it had to help mine! I was a bit embarrassed that my customers had to tell me how great this Avon hand cream was. In looking through my Avon product literature, sure enough - they compared this formula to the Neutrogena brand.

After giving the Moisture Therapy a try, I was very pleased with it, and was even more happy that the cost was so reasonable. I gave my husband a tube and told him to try it on his dry legs, (he would be in misery at night with dry itchy legs!). At times it was so bad that he would make sores on them from all the scratching, and it would even keep him awake at night. He agreed to try the Moisture Therapy cream, and he loves it. He applies it liberally to his legs before going to bed, and that one application can actually get him through one whole week without itching. He swears by it, and makes sure that we are never out of stock.

Avon Moisture Therapy comes in a 4.2 ounce squeeze tube. The lettering and the cap are royal blue. The cream is quite thick, and it comes out of a small hole in the tube. Have you ever used a hand cream with a pump applicator? I have, and I usually get much more of the cream than I need. I either have to wipe some of it off on a paper towel, or rub some of the extra cream onto my daughter or husbands hands. I don't have this problem with Moisture Therapy. It comes out rather slowly because the hole is small and the cream is thick. And a little cream goes a long way! It is a opaque/white color, and smells very earthy. The odor is not perfumy and is not offensive. It doesn't over power any perfume that I am wearing. The only drawback to Moisture Therapy is that it is a bit greasy, and it does take a while to get it all rubbed in and for that "greasy" feel to go away. I always apply it liberally to my hands each night before I go to bed. We love this cream so much that we have it in our RV, behind our kitchen sink and in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms.

Effectiveness
Works on my dry skin and works very well for my husband who has eczema. It removes the dry itch that used to keep him up at night.

Ease of Application
Simple squeeze out as much as you need and you are good to go.

Scent
Not fragrance free, but it doesn't bother me as it isn't strong.

Avon Intensive Hand Cream is the one thing I will ALWAYS have

By

from Kansas City, MO

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

I have a few favorite products at Avon, but this is the one product I will buy over and over again, because I use it so much. It is one of the few products I can't live without. Not only does it immediately relieve dry, itchy skin on hands and arms, but it works everywhere! This is one of the few products you can even use on your feet, especially heels, and see instant results. You can feel it too!

I get so tired of the rough, Velcro feeling of my skin in the winter especially but sometimes all year round after cleaning or doing dishes or even just being outside. Having many small children I do have to wash my hands often and that can really dry out your hands. You don't want dry skin while caring for a baby. It scratches and pokes them and they need to be held and know they can be comfortable. This is my 'go-to' lotion that I have on hand all the time, in my purse, in my diaper bag, near the sinks, and near my bed. Anytime I might remember to put it on. It lasts a long time, even through hand washings but I still reapply.

A must try product for ANYONE with dry skin. I highly recommend. Yes, it will feel greasy putting it on but it shows it works and that does NOT last, it is only while applying.

Effectiveness
This is the MOST effective hand lotion on the market that I've tried. It stays on and keeps my hands protected.

Scent
Mild and pleasant.

Really Moisturizes Your Hands.

By

from Dallas, GA

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

I have been using this Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream for years. I have dry skin on my hands and need to moisturize them fairly often. The Moisture Therapy has the consistency of Vaseline but not the greasiness. I like this particular hand cream because it goes on nicely and really moisturizes well. I don't think it has much of a scent like the other varieties in this line. I have gotten it where the color of the cream is white and then other times where it is clear. The clear one reminds me more of the consistency of the Vaseline and not necessarily the one that is a white cream. I think it does a very good job at allievating my dry hands. I would highly recommend this product since it does such a great job at moisturizing.

Happy happy

By

from Elizabethtown, KY

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

I am 56 years old and my skin is drying out faster than I am aging! It seemed like I was not going to be able to find a hand cream that was helpful until I found this one. It is a tad bit greasy feeling but my hands have not cracked and bled at all this winter. For that I am so very grateful. I keep one in my desk at work, by my chair when I sit and watch TV, and one at my desk at home. I love it.

Effectiveness
no more bleeding and cracking! woohoo!

Ease of Application
Smooth!

Scent
I would prefer no scent at all, but this is a very light scent. Not bothersome.

A must have at all times

By

from Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

I think this is th ebest cream on the market. It is not greasy and a little goes a long way. Some people do not use it right and use too much. It takes jsut a little to coat and it stays on throughout several handwashes. This is especially great for those who wash their hands MANY times a day. Does not havea fancy fragrance so it's perfect for mena dn women and also anyone with allergies to frarance. It retains the moisture and quenches this skin and I have not seen anything else last longer! Definitely a must have!

Moisture Therapy is Therapy for my Hands!

By

from Napa, CA

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

I used to be an Avon Representative, so I would love the fact that I got stuff discounted. I bought this as the winter version, with a penguin and snowflakes on it. So cute! This stuff works a charm, especially in the summer and winter when your skin is at it's weakest. If I get sunburned, this soothes it. If my skin is chapped or pealing from the cold weather, this works, too! Instead of other lotions that take a while to take any effect, this works right on contact. Lastly, if I apply this before washing my hands, I would have expected it to come right off. But, no! It stays on your skin even AFTER you wash your hands with lots of water. I dare you too try! The one thing I do not like about this is that it is only available through AVON, which I do not associate with anymore. Otherwise, buy this!!! :)

Best hand lotion ever!

By

from Dearborn Heights, MI

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

This is the only hand lotion I will use on a regular basis. Everytime I try using something else, usually out of desperation, my hands start to crack and feel unhealthy. Avon's Intensive hand cream is non-greasy, absorbs easily and really moisturizes. The only draw back is that it will need to be reapplied after washing your hands. I'm not sure if there is any lotion which could avoid that though. I just make sure to keep some stashed at work, home & in my purse so it is available to reapply no matter where I am. Avon places this item on sale quite frequently so it is very affordable.

Not an AVON user

By

from Torrance, CA

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

My darling neighbor gave me this stuff for and a chapstick for Christmas because she is a rep. I am not a fan of AVON as I think nearly everything I have come into contact with smells like old ladies. I love old ladies it is just that overpowering floral medical smell. Like the cream they probably use in the masses in a care home. Sounds horrible but I do not know how to explain it. Anyhow, yes this stuff still has some of that smell to it but it is less overpowering than others people have tried to turn me on to.

I do feel like my hands are more moisturized and silky after using but it takes quite a few minutes to get there. Upon applying your hands will immediately feel sticky, paper will stick, they stick to each other... its thick and sticky. It is not easy as a quick apply and ready for a hand shake. It is great to apply and not touch anything for a bit. With all of that said I over all still think the product is good, it is just not one you can apply in all situations.

Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream is by far the best!

By

from Lynchburg, VA

Comments about Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Cream:

This is the best hand lotion I have ever used! I apply to my hands before going to bed every night and wake up with soft moisturized hands every time. I am not a fan of applying lotion during the day because of having to deal with the greasy feeling. By applying this at night my hands stay soft all day long.
