I am a huge ASUS fan so I've never really owned anything outside of the ASUS brand other than a Dell desktop and another HP desktop. The ASUS is the best computer out there. They are best for value, quality, and warranty. I had a G51VT prior to my G60VX and it was amazing. However, I cannot really justify upgrading from the G51VT to the G60VX. The upgraded parts were nice but it was hard to notice a big difference in performance increase. My G60VX boasts the Nvidia GTX 260M GPU and it is stellar for performance. My complaint is that my CPU cannot handle the games that I want to play and keep up with my GPU's sick performance. Also, the G60VX is a very large, thick, and heavy monster. This thing is actually very useful if you want a "sometimes mobile but mainly a desktop replacement kind of thing." If you ever take this thing on trips and you have a laptop backpack then don't be surprised to find your back aching after a few hours of carrying it. I also love the numpad on this laptop.

This ASUS laptop is great for people who are always on-line like me, and also loves to download from the internet anywhere and everywhere, the WI-FI internal wireless card is great. I mostly got this laptop because my old laptop was just to small and didn't have the things that i wanted like the internal wireless card that is able to use any router. There are some draw backs, like the fan, you will have to make sure that nothing is blocking it so the laptop doesn't overheat like mine did but I did not know that it could so I bought a Belkin fan for it and it helped a lot. But then it just really hurt my knees so then I bought a Mainstays laptop desk so now it does't get overheated and it great from people who need portability. And I wish that the laptop had a blu-ray player so I can play my blu-rays on in instead of watching them on the TV that has a blu-ray player.
