Having fibromyalgia it is very difficult to find exercise equipment that will not make situation worse.  I really just need to maintain flexability.  I think if was the reasonable price that got me to buy this one as I figured I would not be losing much money if it did not work.  It was during winter and I keep my apartment very cool.  I was wearing jeans with elastic waistline.  I rolled wheel forward and my pants fell down and I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.  It was a lot of exercise alright but not quite as advertised.  Roll wheel forward, pants fall down, roll back to start and pull pants up.  This is why you always see people wearing shorts when using this contraption.  I tried it wearing shorts but did not want to add another problem to my already extensive problems with rug rash.  I donated it to Good Will and hope somebody will comically enjoy it as much as I did.

Eventhough the ab wheel is a highly underrated piece of exercise equipment, it can be a very effective device. Before I decided to buy one I heard many stories both positive and negative about this device. Some claim it wasn't worth their time and money, others said that they got very surprising results from it. Some people said they actually sustained some measure of injuries from the device while others said the results were quick and astounding. Well after weighing the pros and cons, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. At first the procedure seemed taxing. But remembering being warned in a review to start of slow with baby steps, I gradually got the hang of it and after a few days soon found myself taking full lenght stretches. After a few weeks of learning the right procedure and eventually performing the exercise correctly, I soon started to see some results. I must say that although it wasn't an easy or quick process, it is most certainly rewarding. I do see some definition and I've certainly loss some wait. If you do decide to try this device please be warned to use it gradually. Remember, baby steps.
