I love this trail mix! I have tried many different trail mixes and always can find something wrong with each one. They usually need some other things in there to make the taste better. This one was perfect the way it is. Nice amount of heat and a really satisfying amount of sweetness. The taste is addicting.

I found a new snack, a new snack that is very hard to resist. Target's Archer Farms brand has so many interesting trail mixes, so many that it's hard to decide which one to get, whether you want to go fattening, healthy, sweet, salty, spicy, or all of the above. After about five minutes of staring at the choices, I made my decision, and didn't regret it for a minute. I was already going against the cardinal rule to never go food shopping when you're hungry. Nonetheless, I was completely starving and looking for a quick snack. I bought the Archer Farms Sweet Cajun Trail Mix and tore into the bag on the way home, eating at least a third of it. I just couldn't stop eating it. Every time I got tired of the spicy, I'd eat the sweet, then start all over with the spicy again. The mix includes honey sesame sticks, Cajun sesame sticks, spicy peanuts, butter toffee peanuts, toasted corn (like Corn Nuts), and almonds. Honestly, could there be a better mix out there? Truth be told, I'm not a huge almond fan other than for flavoring. Whole almonds aren't really my thing. I didn't mind in the beginning, but the more I ate, the more I left those behind for someone else to eat, which is basically what everyone does with the pretzels in Chex Mix. I liked this Sweet Cajun Trail Mix so much that when I was meeting up with others and wanted to bring a snack, I brought this. Just the description had everyone salivating, and once they actually tried it, they were all promising there would be none left for me to bring home. They were right, as there were only four of us, yet we had the bag polished off in probably thirty minutes. I want to try some of the other trail mixes Archer Farms has, but I don't know if I can resist buying the Sweet Cajun.
