Axe makes a great number of men's cleansing products and the Excite line of shower gel is a great addition. The purple color and stylish bottle of the gel is a great selling point. The scent is fresh and the cleaning power of the gel is unquestionable. Great new product.

While I wouldn't say that this product is absolutely amazing, it is rather good, particularly when compared to the other Axe scents. Being sucked in to the marketing hype like most people, my husband was eager to purchase Axe products, as he thought for some reason I would become more attracted to him. So to help him pick out a scent, we went to these store and we began to "test" all the scents. To be honest, all of the Axe scents smelled pretty bad, excluding this one. While there are other scents out there that smell better, my husband is pretty brand loyal and this shower gel isn't too badly priced. If you haven't tried this product, it's not one that I would highly recommend but it is a decent buy. This shower gel does last a while too, about four to five months, and does a good job at cleaning at well. My husband works outside year round, and it cleans well and removes any smells from the day.

My fiance works at an organic fertilizer plant... he smells SO bad when he gets home that he has to take a shower before he can sit on any of our furniture. Axe shower gel (kilo) completely takes the nastyness away! When we were looking for a new wash for him I did not want him to use this product because it smelt weird in the bottle... he still got it anyways and as soon as the water and soap get mixed OMG!!! It smells so good and he feels so much better afterwards! Love it!

This is one of Axe's better scents and worth using. The smell is different than a lot of other body washes which is a good thing in this case and is unique. The 12 oz or 18 oz sizes are not too big and the styling makes it look more guy friendly than a lot of body washes. The body wash is kind of a strange color, but today almost all of the body washes on the market are strangely colored. I guess that is why Axe changes the color of the bottle or of the graphics (for example, see the purple on this one) to match the color of the product inside. I do like the scent of this and it is strong enough, but not over powering like other body washes can be. It usually is not too bad of a value and commonly comes in a value pack with Axe deodorant or shampoo. The body wash texture is just about right, not too thick and not too thin. Some body washes are almost chunky, whereas this is smooth and silky.

Axe products are made with men in mind and the company continues to release more and more products with a masculine scent and other manly qualities. One of the newer products is Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel. Shower Gel Facts and Commentary: Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel is a purple- colored shower gel with an interesting scent that combines elements of hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, cologne, and even some wood. The product is normally sold in a 12 oz. bottle, but it is common to find larger, 18 oz. size bottles offered as a bonus, costing the same as the smaller bottle. Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel has an alluring scent and it is quite similar to the scent of another Axe product, Axe Dark Temptation. The smell is most definitely something made for men, without any hint of the floral or soapy smell so common with women's and gender- neutral shower gels. Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel is a quality product and it cleans very well. It doesn't create much lather, but it still cleans well and it makes a good choice when the body odor is strong and must be tamed. A quality that some may not appreciate, however, is the price. Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel, like other Axe products, is priced above the average body wash. The manufacturer is hoping that the exclusive for- men scent and formula, not to mention the ads that emphasize female attraction, will be enough to convince men to pay the extra money. Bottom Line Viewpoint: My bottom line viewpoint on Axe Excite Revitalizing Shower Gel is that it ranks as an above average product with an appealing scent and very good cleaning ability. It may be a little pricey for some, but its ability to clean and leave you smelling the way a man should are enough to make it worth the money.

I bought my son the new scent from Axe, and it smells amazing! He loves not only the scent, but the quality of the clean also. The commercial shows angels falling (haven't seen this yet)-but it does exceed expectations!
