The vizio BVR231 Blu-Ray Player with wireless internet apps is the first blu-ray player we have bought.  We wanted internet capabilities with our new HDTV and were advised that buying a blu-ray player would be better than getting a TV with internet capabilities.  The initial set up was easy.  We used it quite a bit the first week we got it to watch dvds since we did not have HD service for our TV.  We were very pleased with this player.  We have not had the opportunity to try connecting to the internet as of yet.  We are in the process of getting new internet service and a new wireless router so we wanted to wait until that was done.  I do have one complaint--it takes a long time for the draw on the player to open.  While annoying, it is something we can live with.  I am looking forward to buying some blue-ray movies as a friend who has this same player says that we will be blown away by the picture.  I will update my review once we try the internet apps.
