Because I have just a few recipes that call for toasted sesame oil, I don't often buy it. But when I do, Trader Joe's Toasted Sesame Oil is my go-to. To begin with, toasted sesame oil has so much more flavor than regular sesame oil that it is a better product. Just a teaspoon combined with other oils adds a kick of flavor when you're sautéing, for instance. What is nice about Trader Joe's is that the price is substantially lower than other grocery stores near me. It is also consistently available in their stores, which can be an issue at Trader Joe's. Sometimes when we find something we really like there, it becomes unavailable either because it is a seasonal item or it has been discontinued. Grab this when you see it.
