i bought this brand on an article i read on crocked pot cooking and it was mentioned. I couldn't believe these were instant potatoes! I will sing your praises to my grave. Thank You for a supper product.

Okay, so I LOVE mashed potatoes with my meat and vegetables, and I'm forever trying to find new combinations with both the potato flakes out of the box and the real thing with bags of potatoes. I've found that gold and red Idaho potatoes make the best homemade mash, and the same is true for Idahoan BOXED potatoes. Especially when you like the skin included, the red potatoes are absolutely delicious when mashed with milk and butter, and because it's from Idaho you have a hard time telling the difference between a bag of spuds and a box of flakes. I love making my boxed potatoes with extra milk so they're extra creamy, and Idahoan Red never lets me down!

We are huge fans of Idahoan's instant potatoes! They come in a variety of flavors-there is Baby Reds of course, 4 Cheese (our family's absolute favorite!), Garlic, Butter, etc. They are so simple to make-just boil hot water and add the mixture and stir. They taste like you spent hours making them! The flavor is so rich! The texture is great. They do not taste like they are instant potatoes at all. These make the perfect side for a variety of dishes, especially roast!

' Tried several instant mash potato brands over the years, but I keep going back to Idohoan. Home made from scratch, peel them right up do them myself with the family is my favorite of course. A lot of times just don't have the time to do that any more and not as much family left at home to help peel all those potatoes ahead of time. The Idohoan are the closes I have found to that special taste one gets from those days. They don't cost an extreme lot either or take very long to make. There are draw backs though when the family is back home they want mash potatoes more often with dinner since they don't have to peel them any more. It has been my experience that once they are open they store o.k. as long as you don't get them wet or leave them in a real humid environment - so an air tight container may be called for if you get them in the box for any unused flakes. Mine never stay in 'storage' long even when the 'kids' aren't back home.

Idahoan Baby Reds Flavored Mashed Potatoes are easy and taste suprisingly great! Just made these the other day and my mom thought I had made them from scratch.  Idahoan Baby Reds Flavored Mashed Potatoes are so easy to make. Just boil 2 cups of water and mix in with potatoes by fork. I usually add a little more butter because you can't get enough butter! Enough without the additional butter, these potatoes taste great. I like the ones with Parmesan also. They taste like I really added all the ingredients in from scratch. Plus, Idahoan Potatoes have a great low price. They can usually be found on sale, which is great to put with the coupon currently offered on their website. The only con I can think of is the sodium content. But it's usually always high in any premade product. With a low price, easy preparation, and great taste, Idahoan Baby Reds Flavored Mashed Potatoes make a great quick fix for anyone in a rush looking for flavor.

I love these potatoes!!  I can make up and batch, add cheese and Yum!!!!  I can eat these alone or with a meal.  I love to come up with new things to add to them.  Adding crab meat and cheese is a favorite in my house.  They taste like I took all the time to peel, boil and whipped a real potatoe.  I suggest that everyone try them and spice them up by adding stuff to them.  They are so yummy!!! **Idahoan Baby Reds flavored mashed potatoes** are the best!!!!

With Idahoan Baby Reds ready-mix potatoes, there's no more spending all the time it takes to peel and/or cut baby reds.  And, there is no compromising flavor. My family is made-up of all meat an potatoe eaters.   I have peeled enough potatoes in life to supply a days worth of french fries at a local fast food place. I saw the instant potatoes a few years ago when they were introduced at my local market.  Growing up with bad memories of instant potatoes, I was hesitant about purchasing them. Quite honestly, I would not have even tried them, except they had a ridiculously low price as an introductory offer.  I purchased a couple packages, but it would be another month before I would actually make them.  I decided to try them, and I was overwhelming surprised at how good they were.   The flavor was that of baby reds and the consistency was that of great mashed potatoes.  The simplicity in making them is unbelieveable.  Two cups of boiling water, mix in the package, and they're ready to go.   Since that day, I have never looked back.  We now use the Idahoan baby reds and other flavors all the time.  I rarely but bagged potatoes any more.  Definitely worth trying.
