The Beer Drinkers Diet

Taught me a lot about dieting and how to limit intake.

One of the things this diet taught me a lot about was how alcohol can play a role in ruining a diet. It is not a diet really, more of a "how to" guide to nutrition. I bought this book at a yard sale, after looking through it for a couple minutes, and I read it over the course of two days. I learned how everything you eat and drink should be done in moderation. This diet teaches that moderation plays a huge part in dieting correctly. Everything we eat that is bad should be done only a little. This diet did not give me a strict outline of what to eat, when to eat it, and how much to eat. It more taught me the benefits of choosing wisely and how to feel better about myself while dieting. The title of the diet can give a bit of a false perception, but it is more just to catch someone's attention. It definitely caught mine and I am really glad that I read The Beer Drinker's Diet book. It had helped me even when I have tried other diets. I refer back to this book occasionally for advice. I would recommend purchasing this book and trying this diet. It is a definite pick me up for serial dieters like me who have trouble sticking to one specific diet.

Really Explained Alot

While at the bookstore one afternoon looking for a weight loss guide, I ran across The Beer Drinkers Diet. I did a quick skim through the book and it had me interested. I did purchase the book and read from front to back. I found The Beer Drinkers Diet to be more of a nutritional guide rather than a diet. I do have to say that after reading this, I do understand more about calories and the consumption of alcohol. The book teaches you that beer is alright when you are dieting but only in moderation. It explained to me the difference between the good and bad calories. I have to say that after reading and following the guidelines in The Beer Drinkers Diet, I have definitely been more successful in my attempts to lose weight. This is a very helpful and interesting publication that will help explain alot about dieting. I would recommend The Beer Drinkers Diet to anyone.

More of an outlook on your eating lifestyle than a diet.

Do not let the title of the diet fool you. You will not get thin by drinking only beer. I realized this shortly after reading this book ( yes, it is a book about dieting). After about four or five pages in to reading it, I realized that this was not your typical dieting advice book. There was no preaching about exactly what foods you should be eating. It was however, a better outlook on life and dieting altogether. The basic idea being that you should use common sense when choosing the foods you eat. Also common sense about how much beer you should actually be drinking. Everything should be done in moderation, and allowing yourself the occasional cheat is not the end of the world, or your diet. The second half of the book holds the most information as far as dieting, exercise, and nutritional tips. The author really does stress exercising. The first part of the book, however, is mostly the authors personal story about his own struggle with many years of putting weight on, taking it off again, and trying to keep it off. It was, if anything, a true inspiration to read, and an encouragement to try to live and eat healthier. For that, I think it was very effective for me!

At first though, a beer diet just doesn't sound right. how can anyone lose weight by drinking beer? A closer look at **The Beer Drinker's "Diet"**by Bradley Cailor shows an inspirational story of how he lost 114 pounds after several decades of falling for fad diets and not losing weight. **The Beer Drinker's "Diet" **is actually a fairly sensible weight loss plan. It includes everything Cailor learned about dieting over the years. he shares what worked for him and what didn't. He obviously found that drinking the occasional beer or glass of wine did not ruin his weight loss plan. He could incorporate these in moderation and still continue to lose weight. This is great news for beer and wine drinkers alike! Just as you wouldn't completely give up your favorite foods, you don't have to give up your favorite drink either. The most important thing to remember here is to drink only in moderation. If you have a tendency to drink too much or can kick back a six pack without realizing it, it is probably best to avoid drinking beer altogether. Binge drinking is no better for your diet than binge eating. Calories count whether they are food or liquid. I'm only an occasional social drinker. When I do have a drink with friends, I pay extra attention to my food intake for the day. While I don't find it necessary to follow **The Beer Drinker's "Diet**", it's good to know a diet like this exists for people who do enjoy a cold beer or a nice glass of wine now and then.
