Sierra Trading Post is by far one of my favorite and go to spots for ordering anything outdoor related. They have all the big name brands and their prices can't be beat. They sometimes have a limited selection and limited quantity of items, but overall there is plenty to pick from. If you see something that you must absolutely have though, buy it because it won't be there for long! They also have more than just outdoor stuff. You can find everything from suites to housewares. So definitely play around the site a little bit and see what they have to offer. One piece of advice I would give is sign up for their newsletter and/or like them on Facebook. They often run flash sales and will send out coupons for up to 50% off selected items. I have found some great deals and bargains this way. Be warned though, if you do sign up for the newsletter you are sent multiple emails throughout the week, especially during the holidays. I have never checked if it's possible to control how often the email you but it might be something to look into.

As a new member of SierraTradingPost.com, I was satisfied with the pricing more than anything! For instance, I ordered $50 pants for $20 each. Upon joining via email address and other information, I received 30% off my entire order AND there was already a sale on many items. They also have a great program where you refer anyone and if they place their first order, they get a $10 credit for the website, as do you. After placing my items into the online shopping cart I proceeded to check out. The check out was simple and quick. Immediately afterwards, I received a confirmation email. This site is easy to navigate and checking out is simple and fast. The only downside I have seen is the variety. The site does have many, many items to choose from, but mainly just clothing and home decor type items. For each item, colors, sizes, etc seemed to be limited as well. Overall, the incentives and sales alone are worth using this website. The quality of the items look nice and they offer many well known name brands.

I have been a faithful customer of Sierra Trading Post for a few years now and am very satified! I originally found their website while looking for discounted snowboarding gear and since then, have also purchased all sorts of things, from shoes, socks, wool under layers, accessories and jackets. They offer a pretty wide selection of styles, products and brands. Enough to suit everyone's own needs, whether you are into hiking, skiing, need extreme cold weather gear or just need a new raincoat! The offer you so many great deals and discounts, and I also get a lot of coupons via email for 20% off or more. Their shipping isn't free but it is affordable. It is also very reliable and I have always gotten them on time and in great shape! They have amazing customer service, even if you just have sizing questions or such, they are so helpful and very polite. They offer a pretty fair return policy as well, up to 60 days! Overall, Sierra Trading Post is my favorite place for outerwear and sportswear. I have also been more than satisfied and would recommend this company/website to anyone!

So Sierra Trading Post used to be the place to go for great deals on outdoor wear. I used to buy rock climbing, camping and hiking clothing from them all the time. Now it seems hit or miss. Occasionally I get great deals on stuff from them, and sometimes they have the most expensive prices. I had to unsubscribe from their newsletter because they would send four emails warning a sale was ending and then start another sale 24 hours later. Sometimes they send multiple emails a day. If you know your sizes with these outdoor brands and can order with confidence, find the coupon and sale combination and go for it. If not, either find somewhere to try the items on or... It's not that their return policy is bad, it's not that they won't do a refund or exchange. It just takes forever. I have had a return with them where we didn't know if we were getting a refund or exchange for almost 6 weeks. They did take care of it, and I've only had to return items a time or two, but when the items might be $60-80 a piece to start with that I would expect a little bit quicker response. However if you do have to call, their customer service is always super friendly and attempt to be helpful.

My partner needed a new pair of work pants, and we looked at several places for the best deal. He knew exactly what brand and style he wanted. We found his pants at the Sierra Trading website and I used a coupon code I found online to bring the price of the pants down to $26. They are usually $40 plus. This was a great deal. The pants arrived quickly and the order was correct. In the past I have also ordered shoes from Sierra Trading, and although the shoes did not fit well and I did not keep them, the return process was easy. I think I was even able to return them free of charge, which is awesome. I used to scour their big sales and outlet site, but I have found that those usually contain odd sizes and I never lucked out on getting something at a deep discount. But if you are going to buy clothing or camping style gear, Sierra Trading is a great way to go. Much more affordable than R.E.I.

Very good site! I purchased a Spyder jacket from this website and was competely satisfied with my purchase. The sales are quite attractive and makes it worth while to order from them. The item arrived timely and was exactly as pictured and as described. However, their shipping is not something to boast about as it is quite slow. They ship through UPS and it does take some time for the tracking number to show up as directed. Often the item remains at the UPS Depot and stays there for 4 or more days without any activity. I don't know what's going on but they should get the issue figured out. Only when they have the super fantastic sales, then I don't really mind about the shipping time because the item that I am purchasing is significantly cheaper than elsewhere, however it starts to tick me off when there is a minor amount of savings involved as you could just order it somewhere else can get the product faster.
