I have thin stringy hair. I constantly have problems finding products that add volume without weighing my hair down or making it dull and dry. My stylist used Sebastian Whipped Creme several months ago, and I haven't looked back. It adds volume, without weighing down my hair. It keeps my hair silky and soft, not crunchy. I can wear it wavy or blow dry it straight, and it works either way. LOVE this product! You can buy it in a salon or find it online, or at stores like Ulta.

I received the Sebastian Professional Whipped Creme Style Whip to do a review on and upon receiving it, decided to put it to the test right away. My hair is long and has a natural slight wave to it. I don't usually use any type of styling products on it because I hate the way they make my hair feel stiff and crunchy. I thought I was going to have the same results with this product. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. The direction says to squeeze product on palm of hand and distribute it evenly to damp hair. After taking a shower and letting my hair slightly air dry, I put a golf ball sized amount on my hand, applied it on my hair and combed it through for even distribution followed by scrunching. The product looks like regular mousse but slightly thicker and heavier, much like how whip cream would be. It also feels like whip cream...Cool Whip comes to mind here. It has a nice, light, slightly fruity scent that isn't overpowering and almost disappears as your hair dries. I let my hair air dry with this on and the result was bouncy, natural waves that isn't sticky, crunchy and hard. It did help enhance my natural waves a little but the best part is it didn't weigh my hair down like some of the products I've tried in the past frequently do. My hair remained soft, smooth and bouncy. It also conditioned my slightly dry hair which is a big plus. This product can also be used as a setting lotion before putting in curlers or can be used as a styling agent in conjunction with blow-drying. I have tried those methods and the results are the same...smooth, soft, bouncy and conditioned hair that holds its style all day. This is a very good product.

I have used Sebastian's Professional Whipped Creme for close to a year. I am not a big product in my hair person primarily because I have thick, but very, very fine hair. Too much of any product weighs it down.That said, I have enough of a wave to be irritating, yet not enough of one to be pretty. I like my hair to be smooth and silky. Additionally, my hair is very color-treated and tends to land on the dry side. This product adds moisture to my hair, so in a sense, **it acts like a leave in conditioner** as well. After I wash my hair, I towel dry it and apply this product. I never run a comb or brush through my hair when using this product until I have dried it about 80%.  This saves my hair from breakage due to tugging while it is wet. This product allows me to finger comb it because it makes my hair so soft, without tangles. I usually touch my hair up with a comb/brush and a short burst of hairspray and go. However, when I want to straighten or curl my hair, I do not have to put as much effort into it as my hair has enough product in it that it quickly responds to the heat. I have put it in my hair without drying. It does not really do anything for my hair other than make it so fly-away that I end up putting my hair on top of my head. That said, if you have a nice wave or curl, it would be perfect without being stiff.
