When I had long curly hair Be Curly was the only product I used. I was my hair with the shampoo and conditioner. And used the enhancer. It left my hair soft and not frizzy. My curls were always perfect. It never weighted my hair down and always had body. This is the only product I recommend for curly hair.

This is a great product! I have thick semi-wavy hair. My hair needs a good product to hold it's natural curl, I've tried many over the years and all have weighed my hair down. I recently purchased Aveda Be Curly Enhancer and I've found the perfect product to help my hair hold its natural waves without weighing it down. I love this product! My stylist explained that there is wheat protein in this product and that's the key. You apply this product in your wet hair and as you dry it and your hair heats up the protein shrinks, this helps hold the curl. While this product is not cheap in price, you don't need much each time so I suspect it will last quite awhile. The smell of this product is wonderful! It's not perfumey or overpower but pleasant and relaxing. The best part about the Aveda Be Curly Enhancer is that it hold very well. It doesn't weigh your hair down but is light. This product allows your hair to hold the curl but still look natural and not stiff.

I have a hard time finding products that I love for my curly hair. I am very picky and I hold products to high standards. I purchased this from my Aveda salon and I have not been disappointed. It adds nice moisture to my curly hair and it really does enhance my curls. I notice a difference when I use this product versus when I don't use it - less frizz, more curl, and my curls last longer in the heat than when I don't' use it. You also can't go wrong with the environmentally friendly product. I love the efforts Aveda goes through to be environmentally conscious and to provide products to consumers that are safe to use. I am very conscious of what I use on my hair and body. My only complaint is that it is very expensive. I wish I could afford their entire curly line, but it's just not in my current budget. With that said, it's a great set of products for curly hair. If you can only buy one, this is the one I would recommend getting!

I have naturally wavy hair, not tight curls and not beautiful curls, just wavy. I was looking for an option to throw in my hair so that my curls would be accentuated, but not crunchy like what mousse does to my hair. This was the answer. I was nervous about spending so much money on something that might not work, but Aveda has never disappointed me. The products do what they say. I have been using it every day for the past week and have gotten many compliments on my hair. This is a great product for people with in between tight curly and straight hair. Your curls are soft, not cruchy and hold all day.

This stuff is awesome.  I have been an aveda fan/addict for years, and I finally tried "be curly".  For reference, I use the brilliant conditioner and the sap moss shampoo.  I also use the brilliant glaze and then I mix the elixir leave in conditioner with the brilliant forming gel.  The "be curly" made my hair do fun soft curlies, and as all aveda products do, it smelled fabulous :)

Seriously-this is the best product for naturally wavy hair-and I've tried a lot of them-from the cheap ones at the drug store to the most expensive. And while be curly is not the most budget conscious option, it is giving me the best results by far!If you have wavy hair-you know that everyone says how luck you are-but you know that it is an ordeal each day-you have to do SOMETHING with your hair each day. you need to decide to iron it straight, or curl it. going natural isn't really an option... This makes the curly days beautiful! I use a little more than a quarter size of product in wet hair and dry while scrunching my hair and using hair dryer on low-speed and heat. it takes a while-but the results are beautiful.

Okay, I know the price tag on most Aveda products immediately have people running for the hills to other competing products, but let's look at this.  It's a product that goes on AFTER you shower, your hair can be either wet, slightly damp, or completely dry.  Put a small amount on your hand.  It does NOT have to be a large amount (every bit counts at this price!).  Rub your hands together and apply to your hair.  In about 15 minutes, voila - your hair looks amazing.  My hair already has a tiny bit of curl to it, but not enough to really stand out on its own.  This product makes my hair CURLY, and in a good way.... not Taylor Swift.  God, no.  But something that actually looks natural and nice.  It curls up a bit, shortening the length.  I put mine on with my hair damp, so that it keeps the damp look throughout the day.  Anytime you want to 'not' have the damp look, simply run your hands through your hair and it keeps a certain element of the curl without the wet look.  Great value.

The Aveda Be Curly Enhancer is great if you want soft, touchable, movable curls. It does not provide the hard, crunchy curls nor does it lie the edges down flat - for all of my African American natural hair users. It is great if you apply it and put the hair into two braids and let it dry. It smells great and does not appear to have a big build up if you use a few times a week without washing. It is great for huge ponytails that you wet, apply Enhancer and let air dry. The curls remain soft and look moisturized. The cost is a bit expensive but it is worth the cost. You only need to use about one teaspoon for the entire head (this goes for African American hair that has shrinkage when air dry but does not shrink to a kinky curl but a curl somewhere in between kinky and long hanging curls.)

Growing up, I always had straight hair with just a little bit of wave. Nothing that was hard to straighten or that I had to worry about. All of that changed when I got pregnant with my daughter. My hair has gotten curlier and curlier as the years have passed. At first, I could still straighten it with only a little amount of work, but it soon became clear that I would have to wear my hair in a curly style. I had never really used hair products before, so I started with the drugstore brands. I found some that worked ok, but either my hair stayed frizzy, or the products became crunchy in my hair. I finally decided to spend the money on the Aveda Be Curly products, and I have never looked back. These products enhance my curls without leaving them stiff or crunchy. The products also last a very long time. I only have to buy the 2 or 3 times a year at most. I have never been more pleased with a beauty product!

I have naturally curly hair that tends to be a little dry.  I would be lost without Aveda's Be Curly Enhancer.  It is lightweight so it doesn't weigh my curls down.  It helps smooth my curls to avoid my hair getting frizzy. The best part is that it doesn't make them FEEL like there is product on the them - I just have soft and manageable curls that look natural.  I just put this product on my wet hair and let it air dry - no need for a blow dryer or diffuser.  I scrunch my curls a few times and then head out the door!  I am a busy mom with my own business and don't have a lot of time to spend getting my natural curls 'just right' and this product saves me so much time!  I love that when I touch my hair it doesn't feel like there is a lot of product in it and the scent is great!  I would highly recommend this to anyone that has curls, this is so much better then any other curl producct that I have tried.
