This player was perfect for me. It holds enough muic and has many wonderful features! The Charge keeps for many hours! Sometimes it takes a while to start up, but I never found a problem with it. It is great for the cost conscious consumer! Its Compact appearance makes it perfect for all types of active people.

I got this Samsung about a year ago it was a gift from my husband but I am the one who chose it . It is very impressive with all the specs of the mp3 player . Durability wise I would say pretty , pretty good. This gadget feel off so many times just like new, working perfectly. And the sounds is so good ..has good speaker so do speak. I use it most of the time for my execise time .

I was looking for an mp3 player for an overseas trip, as I used to just take a Discman and several CD's on a trip with me! This was obviously a big improvement, but I was pleasantly surprised with this mp3 player; it was a great investment for me. Its great to use while travelling or while walking or jogging; I keep it in my pocket while out walking. It has great sound quality. The earbuds are of good quality. You can listen to FM radio and I've gotten mediocre reception with that. The software included is extremely straight-forward and easy to use. You just drag and drop the songs you want into the folder. The navigation on the player itself is easy to use and the buttons are not too big or small. It is an attractive gadget, blue and white. This product was not very expensive and is a great value for the price. There are 113 songs on mine right now. Of my two complaints, one isn't even product-specific. First, there is a rather loud beep in the earbuds that signifies that the player is powering on... it's startled me a few times. The other complaint is that, like with almost any product, you can see the need for the next best thing... in this case I can see myself wanting an mp3 player that fits more songs. But since it's so easy to put different songs on this player, I don't think that will be necessary.

Player is small and compact, but has a large screen for it's size. The screen is bigger than the iPod nano (1st and 2nd generation) and equivalent to the size of the new iPod nano (3rd generation).  Buttons are simple and not clumsy.Software is easy to use. Basically drag and drop.  Has plenty of equalization modes including a stage setting that makes it sound like you're in a concert hall.It does everything: music, video, games, radio, voice/radio recording, text viewing.

The Samsung Yepp MP3 Player is a great little MP3 player with many functions. I got this MP3 player about 2 years ago as a gift and I could not ask for more. I do not use it often but it has everything I need. First off, it is very compact but still easy to use. I also purchased a case and an arm band with mine which is great for the gym. The one I have is only 2GB but this is fine for me because my main use for it is the gym and that is plenty of music for me to get my workout done. Another great feature is that it has a built in FM radio. This is ideal for when I get tired of the music I have on there or there is something I really want to listen to like a morning show. I feel it is easy to navigate and gives you settings to personalize it. It also has some games which is nice if you have it and get bored. You can also use this to store files and picture which means it could function as a flash drive if you really wanted it to. You can view the picture on this MP3 player but the screen is so small I don't see the point. Overall I feel this is a great basic MP3 player, it doesn't have all the fancy stuff some new MP3 players have but if you don't need all that then this is the perfect MP3 player for you.

 i love samsung products to begin with but this was awesome and easy to use ! very light weight  and sleek its showed the cd albums perfectly and i took it every where with me, even slept listning to it, lol had became my best friend then one day it died on me and i wasent able to take it back because i had passed the retun limit by a month so now im stuck with another thing  not by samsung but im going to by another yepp yp-r1 soon so yah!!!!!!!!!!!  at first it was hard for me  to  get pics on thier but i did and found out i was just being stupid but one thing i could never get on there was video for some reason.......but its really easy to use it was just enough for it to be real quality but not over complicated to the fact im questioning myself if i should  had of bought this product  im happy it came with FM radio, voice recording, touch screen, video, text and photo viewer, FM radio, 2.6" TFT widescreen, Bluetooth, Beat DJ\     i give it 4 1/2

This Mp3 player from Samsung is great. I really can't think of anything majorly wrong with it. Many people are comparing this to a iPhone. While you can sync your bluetooth on it and use to recieve calls; it does not have WiFi or very many apps. This mp3 also allows you to 'scroll' between 3 main screens which is update from the previous version and pretty cool. It does have some "widgets". Which are basically little cutesy applications on the screen that are pretty much useless. One that is cool is a lightbulb on the main screen that helps you adjust screen brightness. Another neat 'app' is a little sketch pad, useless but cute. There is also a cup of coffee that appears to 'steam' when you touch it and a flower with a butterfly that flys away when you touch it. This also has the basic features: a calculator, calendar and a handy little subway map. Pros: Great sound Built-in Speaker Clear, bright, vibrant color resolution on screen Touch screen sensitive and accurate Can upload personal themes and games Cons: Not many apps "Widgets" are pretty useful but cute nonetheless No WiFi Overall: Great mp3 player. If you're looking for a serious all around media player that does a bit more than just play music but aren't quite ready to leap on the iPhone bandwagon; this is great choice!   Be sure to check out the Samsung official website and forums for updates, games, and new themes.

Everyone wants and iPod these days, but what they don't realize is the limitations that come with it. While the iPod and even Microsoft's Zune may look more sleek and be more popular than a simple Samsung mp3 player, they also cost hundreds more and offer less. The Samsung mp3 player offers freedom to simply drag and drop mp3s from your computer into your playlist using your default browser. No installing extra software like iTunes, which forces your music into the iTunes format and limits what you can put on your mp3. This is a simple product that does exactly what its title suggests: Plays mp3s. If you're looking for something that plays videos, look elsewhere. I've had my Samsung mp3 player for almost 5 years now and it still works just as well as the day I bought it. It only froze up twice in those 5 years, whereas I've noticed similar products like iPods and Zunes freezing much more frequently. The player is small and discreet, very light and perfect to take walking or jogging. A fantastic product!

I got this mp3 player as a gift about two years ago.  It's still working, but it's not always my go-to choice.  I have two mp3 players.  The other is the Sony Bean.  I've had the Sony Bean for more than four years now and that's the mp3 player I prefer since it's battery life is probably 10+ hours when fully charged.  Problem with the Bean is that you can't drag and drop files, so it can be annoying when you need to get back to your home computer with the CD application system downloaded onto it.  That's where the Samsung mp3 player came into play.  The great thing is that you can drag and drop files into it, and it can store pictures, play the radio.  It has much more memory than my Sony Bean.  Here are some of the pitfalls though.  The Samsung player has a short battery life - at least compared to my Sony Bean.  If it's fully charged, I might be able to squeeze four hours or so off of it.  With my Sony Bean, I could just charge it every weekend, but when I know I'm using my Samsung, I almost need to make sure I charge it on a daily basis - for the gym and for my commute to/from work.  Another bad point is that the surface is easily scratchable.  When I got this, I also bought an adhesive screen protector (kind of like a transparency film) and also a silicone slip to cover it.  Another pitfal?  For those people who like to be able to just slip their mp3 player into their pocket, feel for the buttons, play, skip, etc., you can't do this on the Samsung.  There are no "buttons" so you'll have to pull it out of your pocket if you want to switch around for songs you want.  In all, it's a good mp3 player, but it's not the best.
