We recently upgraded from a queen-sized to a king-sized mattress, so the first order of business was to get a set of king sheets. There are so many different sheet sets available that vary in quality, price, and thread count, so deciding on something can be very overwhelming! Ultimately, we decided to try something new and get something at a decent price. Despite only being 250 thread count, the **Pure Beech Sateen Sheet Set** is still super soft and comfortable! I love these sheets and am extremely happy with the purchase! They are made of 100% modal, so they are all natural and very breathable. These are the best sheets I have ever had*. *However, I do hope that they hold up over time. There was a ton of lint in the dryer from these sheets after the first few washes and they aren't overly thick, so I am concerned about how they will wear over time. I have also read some other reviews about the seams coming apart, although I have not yet experienced this problem. I was going to get another set, but noticed that these sheets are now made in China (my set was made in India or Pakistan), so maybe that is contributing to the decline in reported quality. Regardless, I am very satisfied with these sheets and would highly recommend them to anybody thinking about trying something different than cotton.**

Pure Beech Sateen Sheet Sets are soo comfortable! They are so smooth and feel great! The more you wash them they softer they feel, I loved them so much with the first set that I went back and bought a second set!! they are just so nice! even though the thread count is low, they feel great!

Pure Beech(R) Sateen Sheet Set, 100% Modal, 250 Thread Count We received these sheets about two years ago after registering for them at Bed Bath and Beyond. They are by far, the softest sheets I have ever tried. I like them much, much better than any of higher thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets I have purchased. Not only do they create an addictive softness, the bed actually doesn't seem as cold during the winter. Unfortunately, the quality is horrendous. Over the past two years I've had to mend the seams on the corners of the fitted sheet and the hems on the flat sheet and pillowcases more than once. The fabric on the fitted sheet has worn so thin, down by our feet, that you can see through the sheet. This week it finally gave way and ripped. These sheets have had normal wear and were washed once a week, following the manufacture's guidelines. Unfortunately, these really are the softest sheets ever. We love them. So, off I'll go to get another set even though they're not cheep and they don't last. If you want the softest sheets ever, get the Pure Beech Sateen Sheets, just expect to do some mending and replace them every couple of years.
