Shampoo doesn't concern me as much as it does other people. The primary reason is because of my short hair. Even a bad shampoo can be tolerated when your hair is short because the negative effects are not that noticeable. Nevertheless, I still fully acknowledge that some shampoos are better than others and one that is very good is **Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo**, one of several styles of shampoo under the Organix brand name. **Shampoo Commentary:** Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo squeezes from its recycled plastic bottle ad a white- colored liquid with medium thickness. This hair care product features a blend of organic mandarin orange extracts and organic olive oil, which the manufacturer claims can heal and strengthen the hair. The product offers a very fresh, clean scent, is sulfate free, and is safe for color treated hair. I have sampled several of the Organix shampoos and I have liked them all. Each one of them shares certain common characteristics, from the unusual combination of ingredients to the scent to the cleaning ability. With the scent, Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo is very clean and fresh smelling and could easily substitute as an air freshener. The scent it leaves on your hair is noticeable throughout much of the day. This might be considered a strike for some consumers, but I like being able to smell this pleasant scent on my hair. It isn't overwhelming, but you can tell it's there. Next, Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo is similar to other Organix products for its cleaning ability. Your hair feels soft and smooth after using Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo and the cleaning level is certainly better than average, although it could be too harsh fro more delicate scalps. Probably the most noticeable difference is the shine that this product imparts on your hair. My short hair is noticeably shinier when compared to the way it looks when using other brands.  Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo is formulated for normal hair, but those with other hair types can still use this product. I will admit, it does take a little longer to rinse it out, and this will be especially true if you have longer hair. Once it's completely rinsed out, however, your hair should feel soft and smooth.   **Bottom- Line Viewpoint:** Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo does cost more than the average shampoo, but it offers a better level of care than you get with the average shampoo. From the scent, to the cleaning ability, to the nourishment for your hair and scalp, it ranks as yet another quality product in the Organix lineup.   Effectiveness Very good, deep cleaning from this shampoo Scent Very nice, clean fresh scent like an air freshener

I have to say I am a little vain about my hair. I also am trying my best to find more eco-friendly alternatives to some of my favorite products.  That and a coupon for "try me free rebate" on the **Organix Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo** were all pretty good reasons for giving it a try. **What do I like about Organix Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo:** - Eco-friendly bottles made from recycled post-consumer resin - Labels are printed utilizing environmental inks and compostable label film made from annually renewable resource corn, not from petrochemicals. - Sulfate Free - Paraben Free - Organic Active Ingredients - Safe For Color-Treated Hair - Safe For All Hair Types - does smooth away the frizzes - rinses away clean **What I don't like about Organix Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo:** - you have to use a lot to get a good lather and feel your hair is clean Overall **Organix Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo** is eco friendly both inside and outside the bottle and it does a good job on my hair.  I'll finish the bottle but think that the Passionfruit Guava is going to turn out to be my personal favorite! Look for that review real soon. Scent It has a strong herbal smell not what I expected at all, some may like, however, I don't really care for it.

I don't wash my hair everyday, rather I rinse it everyday and shampoo every other day. This keeps my hair healthy and shiny. Just a little background. So when I do use this shampoo I am a little disapointed with the foam-up. I feel like I have to use twice as much shampoo to really get it clean. It does smell nice and it claims to be organic, in the name. So, I do like that I am not putting harsh chemicals in my hair. I would like to try some of the other blend by Organix, they do sound yummy.
