this shampoo moisturizes your scalp and hair.  It works wonders and will make you look like a completely different person.  For ethnic hair this was a great product and will continue to work and i will use it always.  i have tried different shampoos and this is the only one that has worked so wonderful. Effectiveness Washing your hair as an ethnic person, the only recommendation that I would suggest is if you have any length to your hair, make sure you try to come out in the shower because it does not always detangle well depending on texture of hair and products used to come hair out after it is towel dried. If you have a dandruff problem then, this will contain the moisture in strands of hair and keep it from breaking off and it will grow alot. Scent This shampoo smells like berries and cream. It keeps it's smell for days and does not attract bugs to your hair with the smell either. Some sweet scents do.

  Before using Pantene-Pro v shampoo I tryed dozens of other shampoos. After dieing my hair for years I finally decided to go natural which at this point is gray. My biggest problem was other shampoos left my hair dull and some shampoos dryed out my hair. I also had a problem with yellowing of my hair. After using Pantene-Pro V I am happy to say I no longer have yellow shades in my hair and it is very managable and not dry. I use Pantene Pro-v on an average of 2 times a week  with excellant results

Even though this product has been on the market for awhile now; I just recently discovered it about six months ago. First, I saw a commercial for it than I brought it up in conversation with my best friend.  She acted as if I had been living under a rock when she explained that she had already been using it for months.  The price was good and I didn't see any harm of trying it out. I had always just used what was on sale or what ws the first thing I saw in the isles at the store.  I have to admit the first time I tried it; It made my head fill lighter and my hair seemed to look like it use to when I was younger. As the months went on and I used it more often there was a noticeable difference in the texture of my hair and the thickness.  My hair seemed to be stronger and healthier.  I also use the related conditioned and daily oil cream moisterizer.  All three together is a great buy and I would recommend it for and women of color no matter if your hair is relaxed or natural!

when I first started using Pantene Pro-V for Color Treated hair, I was at my wits end with Shampoos "claiming" to be good. I have noticed minimal fading in my color using this product. You must use the coordinating Conditioner with this for maximun results. The combination of the two are excellent. The shampoo leaves your hair soft and feeling clean. You can really tell the difference between his product and other products claiming the same thing. The Shampoo works well as a last minute body wash. It leaves your skin soft, smooth, almost silk feeling. Pantene Pro-V did a fabulous job creating this product. I especially like the way it minimully fades your hair color. The rest of the products out there have an ingredient that promotes fading of your hair color. I'm sure this product has the same one, I'm not sure what it is called (Check with your beautician), But I don't think it has alot of it in there.

From time to time, I notice that my relaxed hair is shedding more from structural weakness and dryness.  As much as I try to deny it, the evidence is there in my comb and brush.  **Pantene Relaxed & Natural Breakage Defense Shampoo** is the best product I've ever used to combat breakage in weak and vulnerable hair.  Designed specifically for the unique hair care needs of women of color, Pantene promises up to 90% less breakage in one month.  I haven't used it for a full month yet, but I will say that I've personally noticed at least a 50% decrease in hair breakage.  In my mind, that's a huge success. This shampoo comes in a tube and holds 8.4 ounces of fragrant, moisturizing hair cleanser.  A little dollop of the shampoo goes a long way.  Unlike some moisture-intensive shampoos that I've used in the past, Pantene's formula builds up to a full, soft lather that rinses clean and leaves a wonderful scent.  From the first shampoo, my relaxed hair felt soft and detangled as I rinsed the suds away.  Even though the strands felt thoroughly rinsed, I could still feel just a hint of a protective coating remaining on my hair.  I couldn't wait to try out the companion conditioner (which I review [here][1] ).
