I fly a lot so I love products that aren't in a liquid or gel form so I can carry them on. I always have one of these blocks in my purse just in case. I'm dangerously pale so I really have to have sunblock with me all the time. I find this can make even my pale skin whiter so I only use it as a touch-up and carry a liquid as my base protection.

I've tried a lot of sunscreens, because I have pale, sensitive skin. This is my favorite ever. I bought it because it was a good size to pack. How wonderful that it also turned out to be so easy to apply, left my skin feeling moisturized, and protected me from sunburn all day while I was out sightseeing in France. Scent I didn't notice a scent, which is fine by me. Absorption It left my skin feeling moisturized all day. I have dry skin, so this was a plus. This small roll-on was the perfect size for travel and enough to last through my 2-week vacation to France. Flying dehydrates my skin, so I especially appreciated the feel of this product. It is oil free, too. Longevity I can burn in 15 minutes--in fact, I did a little on my first day in Paris since the airline lost my luggage. I was glad to have my sunscreen returned to me before I burned to a crisp. I was outdoors much of each day and got a little tan (rare for me) without any burning. Effectiveness I covered this under longevity. Excellent! Ease of Application It was better than very good--the easiest to apply sunscreen I have ever used. You just roll it over your skin like a deodorant stick. There is also a Baby version that I used just on my face with an SPF of 60.

I love Neutrogena products for oil control. I'm an avid user of their cleansing shampoo and acne treatments. When I looked for a new sunblock, this was a perfect idea. I keep one of these in my purse for emergency times when I don't think I'll be in the sun that much. It's SPF 30, which is weaker than I normally use, but in a pinch it 's better than nothing! It's got a nice clean scent, not that gross sunblock smell. It rolls on almost unnoticable, definitely lives up to the oil free claim, and doesn't feel greasy or clog my pores. It's great for on the go, but I wouldn't use it as full sunblock protection, more of a touch-up or emergency. I'd love to see this product in a higher SPF form, because it'd work great as a serious sunblock. The travel size is nice too, big enough to not get too lost in my bag but small enough that it isn't annoying. It's a bit expensive for a small stick, but with most Neutrogena products, it's worth it!

I bought this for my stepdaughter last week. I am trying to get her to be more concerned about the damage that the AZ sun does to her fair skin and this product seems like the perfect size for her purse! She burns along the top of her nose and under eyes just from walking around outside so I'm hoping this product will stop that.
