The Merle Norman Lip Pencil Plus is absolutely wonderful! First of all, the lip liner and lip color are all in one stick. Unlike most lipsticks that I have used that have to be rolled up, the Merle Norman Lip Pencil is a pencil that has to be sharpened when it gets down too low to go on smoothly. I wear the Berry Kiss shade most often, but there are several other shades that I have used and loved. The color lasts a really long time. I don't know that I would go as far as to say it lasts "all day" like some other lipsticks claim, but it lasts much longer than any other lipstick I have used. I also like that Merle Norman cosmetics are sold by people who can test samples on my face/lips before I pay for them. It costs more than the lipsticks that can be found in drugstores, etc. But, I have spent a lot of money buying lipsticks that I could not try on before I bought and ended up never wearing. So, in the long run I have come out cheaper just by the fact that I can try the product before buying it. I would highly recommend this lip pencil to anyone!

Am I wrong to be in love with my lipstick?  I am a total Merle Norman junkie, but what can I say?  I really love their products and NO it is not old lady makeup!  I know the Lip Pencil Plus has been around for quite a few years but I rediscovered this product and love it even more than I remember.  First of all, the colors are fantastic.  There's seriously a color there for everyone.  And the fact that you get the lip color and the lip liner in one product is fantastic.  I was always losing lip liners.  And living where it gets so hot in the summer time, I was always finding melted lipsticks in the bottom of my purse.  Not with this product!  The fact that it's in a pencil form, I guess keeps it from melting all over the place.  But yet it doesn't leave my lips feeling all dry.  The liner and color both glide on smoothly, feel great on my lips and last!  I don't have lipstick all over my glass after taking a drink either.  What a great product!
