Breastfeeding necessity!

5

Lansinoh Nipple Cream really is a must have for a breastfeeding mother. Starting out, even though we had no latching problems, my nipples got very sore and cracked. After the first week I was in agony and was thinking, "How can anyone do this?". My mother gave me Lansinoh nipple cream, and it works! With one application you get immediate relief, and can see the healing process start. I continued breastfeeding with the help of the nipple cream, and still am 11 months later. I didn't need it after the first month but it would have been a horrible experience without the cream! I was also worried that it will affect the baby but there were no side effects.

Helped me to recover quickly.

There are times throughout the whole breastfeeding process where damage is done to a woman's nipples. For me these times included: the first two weeks, after the first three months, and every day after my kids teeth came through. If you are as determined as I was, and still am, to make it to at least the year mark for breastfeeding, this product is a lifesaver. Not only did it help to stop the raw, sore skin from getting any worse, but it also made it better. While it is a relatively small tube, a little bit goes a long way for the Lansinoh Nipple Cream and it takes me three or so months to go through a whole tube. I highly recommend this cream to anyone breastfeeding, and make sure you have it on you prior to birth!

Works perfect for Pregnancy

Having a rough time with pregnancy itching and soreness I tried this. I have to say it's amazing and makes a world of difference almost immediately. I will continue to use once breastfeeding. A tiny dab is all it takes so the tube lasts forever. Very economical and safe.

Lasinoh is an ultra-pure lanolin cream that is great for soothing sore nipples when starting out trying to breastfeed. It is also good for dry skin, hands, and lips and can be used all winter long.  There is never the itchy feeling from this lanolin as it states that it is ultra-pure and I believe it.  Can even use it on baby's skin.

Great nipple cream--a must have for a new breastfeeding mom!

As a mom who has nursed her first two children (with the third on the way) I can say that the Lansinoh Nipple Cream is an ABSOLUTE must have for new breast feeding moms.  When I gave birth to my first child--the doctor gave me the Lansinoh cream in the hospital--it was such a lifesaver! It provided much needed relief for my cracked nipples when I just started nursing.  I don't think I could have lived without this cream for the first couple of months each time I brought my babies home (I have two children).  The best part of it is that it is safe for baby, and doctor recommended. It can leave "grease" spots on your clothes, however, if you are using a nursing pad, then this shouldn't be a problem.  I highly recommend that any new mom who is planning to nurse their babies spend the money to buy this cream.  It will be a good investment and support you efforts towards nursing your newborn.  I will be using this cream again when I have my third child later next year.

The best nipple cream on the market

5

This is the only nipple cream that a new mom should consider buying. As a childbirth professional I recommend this cream to all my new moms as it's ingredients are 100 percent edible for newborns. It's the only one on the market that doesn't have to be washed off before you feed your baby and for anyone who has had sore nipples the last thing you want to do is to have to wash them 8 times a day with a hungry baby wailing at you to eat. The organic natural brands on the market that advertise themselves as all natural etc are not good for baby as the ingredients are often known allergins. For example one brand I see a lot has olives in it which a lt of babys are allergic too. This means they end up with a skin rash around their mouths where they rub agains mom's breast. Just because something is ok for grownups to ingest does not mean it's good for baby. This doesn't happen with lansinoh. You also will never need the whole tube for sore nipples. (If you do you should be seeing a lactation consultant and getting the cause corrected). You can use the rest as diaper rash cream. It is just a barrier cream so works on anything you want to get moisture away from.

ease the cracks very well with Lasinoh

My ob recommend this to me and gave me several samples to try. The Lasinoh nipple cream has a very thick texture ( this is probably the only thing I don't like) and it nurishes the nipple very well. I used to have very dry and cracked nipple during pregnancy and now I put on a thin layer of this nipple cream after every shower. The effect is almost instantanious, my nipple become very tender and smooth and is not sore of ichy any more. My ob also told me that this cream is good for breath feeding as it is made of all nature ingredients and it is same for the baby to suck. I just wish the lasinoh nipple cream is more easy to apply with a lighter texture and less expensive. I will still continue using this as it is safe and effective for both me and the baby. If you are a breastfeed mom like I do or you are in your late pregnancy and suffer from sore and cracked nipple, I recommend you to try this product.

Great for Any Part Of Your Body

This product is great for any cracked, dry or irritated skin.  Although it is advertised for breastfeeding and does work wonders for that, it is great to have around for anyone. I will often put it on my hands in the winter when my knuckles become cracked and dry.  If I put it on before bed, I wake up and my hands feel like I got new skin.   I never had a huge problem myself with irritated nipples, but as a breastfeeding support couselor I have recommended and seen many woman reep the many benefits of this product as well.  It is a must have for any new breastfeeding mom.

great for ANY cracked skin

At age 73 I am NOT a breast feeding mother. I discovered this product after trying MANY other products, lotions, cremes, etc. in an attempt to heal and stop further cracking of the skin on the palm of my hands that had been a major ongoing problem for about three years. Since I started using the Lanisoh  For Breastfeeding Mothers on this area my skin has healed completely. Not one new crack has developed in over six months. I would highlky recomment this product to anyone with a problem of irritated and cracking skin. It is a true miracle. I can only assume it would work equally well for the use it is intended for.
