This dishwasher has been rather disappointing for an LG product. I researched before buying and read good reviews, but I have been less than pleased. We find that the noise level is okay, but not quiet. We had to have a repairman in within the first year to help us understand why it was leaving residue on the dishes and not cleaning them thoroughly. He said they have several calls for this model. After he replaced a piece and explained the importance of using powder dish detergent, we have not had any more issues. If you do decide to get this dishwasher, use powder dishwashing detergent NOT LIQUID OR GELPACS! Cleaning Time One full normal cycle generally lasts two hours Loading Flexibility The top shelf is adjustable to allow more room as needed. Performance I usually fill to capacity before running and dishes usually come out clean. On rare occasions I must scrub a pan, but that is to be expected. Design I like the sleek front without a protruding handle to bump into.
