I would not recommend this.
Does anyone else remember Sun In? The terrible hair lightening spray craze that almost every girl and women tried in the 80's and 90's. Yeah well this is the same exact thing. I've tried both products and I would not recommend them even if you are starting out with naturally blonde hair. When I first bought it was thinking that it would be a big step from good old Sun in but it wasn't. I have naturally medium to dark brown hair, and while this gave me gorgeous reddish brown highlights, it terribly damaged my hair. My hair was healthy before I used it, and after using it, it was really dry and damaged. It felt brittle and I had noticeable split ends. You'd be better off using regular hair bleach because it causes just about the same amount of damage. Not only that but if you get it on your skin it gives it this uncomfortable burning sensation and turns it white. That can't be good for your scalp. This also reeks of hydrogen peroxide and body odor. The smell is even noticeable after your hair dries. It's horrible. Do not pick up this product, if you want lighter hair, go to a salon or give yourself highlights at home another way. Effectiveness It lightens your hair, i'll give you that. But the damage is causes is definitely not worth it. Ease of Application It's easy to use, you just spray it in your hair and comb the spray through with a comb or brush.
