I bought this sofa before the Chicago showrooms closed and still couldn't be happier with my purchase 7 years and 6 moves later. Despite the light weight, it is well constructed and blends with multiple decor styles. I have the cream microsuede and didn't purchase the scotchguard. My friend has spilled red wine on it and it cleaned up easily with no stains now. The seating is comfortable and there is no noticeable breakdown or sagging of the seat cushions. In fact, this sofa has held up 3 times as well as the full-sized sofa I purchased at the same time from another store (and the full-sized sofa was more expensive). My only complaint is the sofa bed mattress. Although initially comfortable, with minimal occasional use by average sized adults, it has become uncomfortable without a memory foam topper.

The Softee Sofa Bed by Jennifer Convertibles is the size of  a loveseat. Fits perfectly in the bedroom as a couch to sit on. Folds out to a full size bed. Comes with a Simmons Innerspring mattress which is very comfortable. I liked this one because of the mattress. Most of the other sofa beds I had found just had a very thin matress with no springs and were extremely uncomfortable. Comes in other fabrics but because this was for my son's room, I bought it in a finely ribbed corduroy fabric. Very sturdy, functional yet stylish. Takes less than 30 seconds to set up a bed for overnight guests. I could not be happier. Very easy to open and close. The sofa is very comfortable to sit on. My only complaint is with the back cushions. They are overstuffed and while they are comfortable, they do not hold their shape very well. I am constantly having to refluff to make them look even. Some of the  filling inside will shift to one side making the back cushion look uneven. A minor yet annoying flaw. One other note: the span of the seat is on the short side. If you are under 5'8" the distance between your bottom and your knees when seated is fine. However taller people or people with longer legs may find the edge of the seat cushion ending halfway up their thigh. If you are going to use this for anything but occasional sitting, I would definitely sit on it before buying it.
