I have owned this couch since Dec. 2009 (purchased at Iowa City Slumberland) and it has been nothing but an expensive headache. The left reclining mechanism has been repaired but is broken again. The only good thing is that slumberland was nice enough to do the first repair not charging me the hourly repair rates, the mechanism was broken almost since we had bought the couch but I had not called it in until over a year had passed. The cushioning in the seating is so broken down that you can feel the wood beneath your bottom when you sit on the couch 'cushions.'

I have owned this item for less than 2 years . There are two adults in the household. The item was delivered and was defective from the start. The dealer has removed the item for repair numerous times and claimed the defectes were repaired. Two weeks later the problem (sagging / flat cushion on one side of the sofa) returns. Yesterday my wife noticed the other cushion seam was splitting. Expensive piece that is not worth the money or frustration of the "life-time" warranty.
