This is a natural hair must, to make perfect Afro puffs or to get your hair out of the way instead of using clips. They are also good for banding. They don't snag often and when they do it's because you need new ones. I would suggest that all my naturalistas at least try them.

I am forever grateful for Goody Ouchless Elastics! I have long hair and I was that little girl who always got tangles and knots in her hair and cried when they were get brushed out or when I got a hair elastic caught in one of those tangles and I could not free the elastic from my knots. I would hate my hair getting caught in these elastics so much that I would ask someone to cut the elastic rather than try to free it from my crazy tangled hair. I never have to face those painful situations again ever since I started using Goody Ouchless Elastics in my hair. The Goody hair elastics do not have those metal holders so they really are painless and in my opinion they last longer without those metal holders. These hair elastics are nice and firm and are really good at holding a ponytail and/or bun as long as I desire. These Goody hair elastics are perfect for any type of hair and really are durable.

If you have medium to long hair and like to wear it tied back there are a ton of elastics on the market but only a few of them actually live up their claim of being "ouchless". I am extremely picky about the hair elastics that I use; I need something that is going to have a certain amount of give and flax to it but something that isn't going to need to be removed and reworked every couple of hours. Goody's had some really nice small and regular sized hair elastics but these are the best that they currently make. There are no metal fasteners to them so they are great if you are wearing them to the gym or when exercising because you never have to worry about bonking yourself in the head and having that piece of metal hurt your scalp. That also means that hair won't get stuck in it when you are inserting or removing it. You can get them in different color assortments but the all-black packs are hard to come by. That usually means that I end up with brown or light gray ones that never get used until I go through all of the other ones. I have only had a couple of these break but over time they do lose their elasticity and need to get pitched. If you are getting the lighter colored ones and are using hairspray or hair care products that could result in dirt getting on the elastics. You can toss them in a lingerie bag and machine wash them but most of the time I just toss them out.

Goody Ouchless Hair elastics are pretty nice! they last for longer than normal and are the worlds number 1 brand of hair elastics! they're not expensive and they stretch very well but also have enough elastic to be small if you don't have thicker hair.. :) all together i do recommend this brand of hair elastics over all others personally!

Goody Elastics are a one-time use item, and then the elastic breaks on the inside of the threads and it doesn't stretch anymore. What happened to the good, strong, black metal clasp elastics? Those were great! Any one know where I can find them these days?

I recently acquired a full size sample of Goody's brand Ouchless Ribbon Elastics from Influentser. These elastics were PERFECT!! I have medium-long length hair and these elastics were perfect! They didn't snag my hair and they stayed put all day long! The ribbon elastics came in a variety of colors- 5 different ones- a shimmery purple, a silvery gray, a darker shimmery gray, black and a shimmery hot pink. The shimmer in these elastics is very toned down but they are very pretty and girly without being over the top! I have used these ribbon elastics to put my hair in a bun, put my hair up and to put my hair in both a ponytail and in pigtails and they have been resilient. I have been using this package for about two weeks and so far I haven't had any issues with the elastics stretching out of losing its shape. Their is a knot at the end of each elastic but that is just the style of them. So I give these ribbons elastics an A+ and they are perfect for you if you are looking for an elastic that won't pull out your hair!

I really do love these Goody Ouchless Elastic hair bands. I have very long hair and it is also very thick. I usually wear some type of ponytail or a braided ponytail every day. I also live in the south where the steamy humid days make it necessary to keep the hair off of your neck on these 98 degree summer days. Goody Ouchless Elastic hair bands do just that!! They are very economical and are available in a variety of colors. It makes it fun to mix them for crazy hairdos or match them to your favorite outfits! They come in colors that match your hair color too if you are needing to not see them. The best thing about these great hairbands is that they are very easy to find. They are always available at my local supermarket or drug store. I have two daughters and they have also grown up with these Ouchless Elastics. They are seemless so there are no parts to break your hair or rub into my scalp. I highly recommend Goodys and all of the hair products that they make.

Have you ever bought other brands of ponytail holders? They rip out your hair on the little tiny metal pieces they have, or they get stuck in your hair after a long day. These ones have no metal piece and come right out of my hair with no pulling. I know it's a small purchase but there other brands in the stores, but no other brands in my house. I put my hair up almost everyday so these are important to have at home and on me, just in case. I love that these are in a variety of colors so if you don't want it be obvious you can buy one close to your hair color. Now I will say these break more easily, maybe because they don't have a metal piece. But for a few bucks for an entire package I really can't complain about a few breaking once in awhile.

I get about two days' worth of use out of one band and it breaks. Whatever happened to the bands with metallic threads and metal clips? Probably labeled as weapons. Another sign of the times - that something else of quality has gone by the wayside.
