great cradle cap treatment

My son had cradle cap bad. I tried everything. The protrolem jelly with a comb, or picking it with my hands. My mother told me about this product she has seen. I worked the first time I used it. It didn't remove all of it the first time. but within 3 times of using it, all the cradle cap was gone. I was very happy with this product.

Expensive but works

My oldest daughter had a small case of cradle cap. It wasn't that bad, but I wanted to fix it before it got worse, so I went and bought this product. I remember being surprised at how much it was, but all of the other brands were just as high. It's extremely greasy when you put it on. I was always afraid of my daughter touching her head and then her eyes, but luckily that never happened. The product worked great and her cradle cap was gone very quickly.

I love gentle naturals

I am just a huge fan of the entire gentle naturals line. I think it is all very affordable and effective. It is also natural and safe for my baby. My son had a bad case of cradle cap when he was around 3-4 months old. We tried alot of natural remedies like olive oil and baby oil and nothing really worked. We combed it, and that just seemed to make the problem worse. I decided to give gentle naturals a try since I liked the eczema products so much. It worked much better than the other products! We used this for a few days and the cradle cap was improved dramatically. The smell isn't the greatest, but i just look at it like a medicine, it doesn't smell great but it does the job! It is a little more expensive that other options, but you don't need to use a ton so it could last you through a few babies if you saved it! It also left my babies head a little greasy, but so do all of the other remedies so I think it is worth it!

Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment stinks..for real!

My son had cradle cap during his first few months and I tried different products/remedies that were available. The Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment featured Winnie the Pooh characters on the label and looked promising so I gave it a go. Ugh! It really did nothing for my son's cradle cap and instead left his hair/head smelling like he had spent the night in a musty, moldy, mildewed basement. If the product was as effective as its awful smell, then this would've been like gold. A good thing about this product, however, is that it had an easy to apply texture that wasn't too runny or too thick either. I used it on more than one occassion and it just wasn't effective for my baby. I'm going to say "pass" on this one.

cradle cap treatment did not work for my baby

My mom purchased this gentle natural cradle cap treatment for babies for my newborn baby because we had an issue with her having the cradle cap and I do not know if it actually worked. I am not to sure that it was the cradle cap treatment or was it the fact that you light brush your babies head while the cream is on there head which loosen the flakes so that they come out. I did not see any difference from when I would just wash my babies heasd with the baby shampoo and take her soft baby brush and light brush her head to loosen the flakes and I think that worked the same and just as well as when I would put the cradle cap treatment on her head. I do not think the cradle cap treatment actually worked for our baby. One thing I did notice if you put a little to much it is so creamy and greasy in her hair I do not think you can even get to the cradle cap with the baby brush to loosen it because it slicks the babies hair down. Sometimes it was hard for me to wash the cradle cap treatment out of my babies hair. I would wash her hair with the baby shampoo but it would still look and feel greasy.

Didn't work for us... but our son has Eczema.

When our son was born, he had extremely dry and peely skin and the doctor's consistently called it cradle cap. Our friend's son had had cradle cap and they suggested this product to take care of it. They said it worked wonderfully for them. We tried using it and it made absolutely no difference for our son's skin. This being said, I really don't think he had cradle cap. The doctors all called it cradle cap and all of our friends said it looked just like cradle cap. He may have had a touch of cradle cap, but I really think it was just Eczema. This didn't help with his Eczema, but that's that what it's intended for. Our son's skin didn't get better until we saw a dermatologist and we were able to treat it with creams and washes meant for Eczema. All and all, I have heard that this treatment works wonderfully for cradle cap. However, it does not help with Eczema, which is not what it's intended for. Good luck!

Cradle Cap Treatment for Baby is okay!

We used the Gentle Naturals Cradle CAp Treatment for Baby on both of our daughters.  They both has cradle cap bad and one daughter has never really been able to get rid of it.  The doctor recommended we use a cradle cap treatment, he said we could buy it at any store.  That was very convient to be able to buy it anywhere since we lived in a small town.  I will warn you up front that this smells terrible and your childs hair smells bad too.  Also it left there hair very greasy and unmangable.  It was so what expensive and it did work well.  You have to leave on there scalps for about ten mintutes, it seemed like it took forever.  Then you run a comb thur there hair to try to get all the cradle cap off there scalp.  My daughters did not like that step, but it worked.  Only problem it keeps coming back.  I would recommend this to anyone dealing with this problem, but be ware of the smell and do not use it every night.

didn't work for us, with 2 different kids

We've had cradle cap issues with both of our children.  I purchased the Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap treatment after every other suggestion didn't work.  I'd read a lot of reviews online and was hopeful.  We tried it with our first son, who had a mild case of cradle cap.  I can't say it completely cleared up the problem on its on.  I still scrubbed his head with a baby brush (we didn't consider this an issue until after 6 months of age). With our second, it was worse.  We tried the Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap treatment again since we already had it.  I used it for several weeks but the cradle cap persisited.  Needless to say, I was dissapointed because it didn't do its job.  When I contacted the company via email, I got no response.  As far as the product itself goes, the smell is ok and the shampoo is creamy in texture.  Nothing unpleasant about the Gentle Naturals Cradle cap treatment; it just did not work for us with either of our children.
