Nail Clippers

I really loved my Safety 1st steady grip nail clippers! I brought these over 4 years ago right before my son was born and they just broke a couple weeks ago so I'm getting a new pair of these soon. I love these nail clippers to use on my son because regular nail clippers can be a little dangerous when you're attempting to trim a wiggly kids nails no matter what their age. I felt very comfortable using these on my son even when he was a newborn because they are very gentle but also really effective. It's easy to achieve a nice smooth edge with these clippers. And the large part on the end of the clippers really helps me hold onto them so I won't accidentally lose my grip and hurt my son by clipping into the skin. These are very easy and and safe and comfortable to use. The clipper part also folds down for when they are not in use and I don't believe a little kid would be able to twist it into cutting position very easily if they were to unnoticeably get ahold of them. Although they should be stored where a child can't reach them but accidents do happen! Would recommend these to all mothers with young children especially newborns!

Good product!

I have been using these clippers since my son was born 5 months ago and I have no complaints. They fit comfortably in your hand for a steady grip. Also, they are small enough for even the tiniest baby. I did slip once and it cut my son's finger but I think that was just because I was nervous new mommy.

Easy and safe to use

These are the only clippers we use for our little one. It has a nice cushion and fits in my hand well, so I never worry about slipping and cutting baby's fingertip. It's small enough to not cause any damage, yet long enough that I can get the entire nail clipped in one try. I definitely recommend these to all of my mommy friends!

nail clippers

This is the only type nail clippers I will purchase. I was always so scared that with out the grip that the clippers would slip on cut some of the skin on their finger tips. But with these they have a big handle and they will not slip. Still have to wait to a child is a sleep but that's just my choice because it is safer that way to me.

Clipping nails used to be a hassle but not with this nifty little nail clipper It's so easy to use and if you don't like the way it feels in one position you can flip it around and try using the other side. I always hear everyone saying how they cut little baby fingers but I have never had that problem because it has a smooth rubber handle to reduce slipping.. The handle also has a space where the nail clipping bar can fold nicely into to make it much more compact. It's great for home use but you can take for travel as well. The best part is it doesn't get lost easily in a diaper bag because the handle is large enough to see.The whole design is fantastic and it works really well. Another great thing is the blade is not to small or too big and clips little baby nails to a perfect size. The blade is sharp but I have never had any problems with it cutting or even scraping baby. I give this nail clipper and Safety 1st an A+

Really easy to use product for our baby.

When my granddaughter was born she was two weeks early and weighing in at a whopping 10+ pounds. She was like a 3 month old baby. She had the hair and the nails of a 3 month old baby too! I always found it easier to bite my daughter's fingernails when they were babies. The nails were too soft for clippers and it was difficult to cut their nails when they wiggled and cried. Thankfully a friend recommends the Safety 1st Steady Grip Nail Clippers. As I get up there in age I find lots of things more difficult. I find trying to hold tiny things like nail clippers in my hands make them ache. Safety 1st Steady Grip Nail Clippers are much easier on my hands as they are bigger with a better grip area so I can use them quite comfortably without any pain and knowing that they will do a great job on my granddaughter's tiny little fingernails. I find the clippers do a much better job than I did when I used to bite my daughters nails.

Nail clippers for baby

Clipping baby's nails is never easy, but these seem to make things a little easier. My little one doesn't enjoy having her nails trimmed but I can usually get it done easily with these. The shape makes them easier to hold onto. I keep two pairs in separate rooms so I always have some handy

I love this product. My neighbor actually had this product first and I borrowed it. After using it I went and bought my own. It is really easy to use and the large grip makes it easy to handle. It cuts my baby and my older kids nails with ease. I tell all my moms-to-be to get these clippers!

Safety 1st Nail Clippers are easy to use

4

The Safety 1st Nail Clippers are easy to use. I received mine in a first aid kit with other items and use these over a different pair I have. At first I found them hard to use because they are a bit bulky and not like regular nail clippers. However, the more I use them the easier they are to use. I like the fact that they are safe to use and the tip is small enough that I won't hurt my son. They also don't seem to be very sharp so I no longer worry about cutting my son. I like these so much that I bought a pair for my friend who is expecting her first child this summer. I told her she'll be using these a good bit in the first few weeks since their nails grow pretty quickly. This is a great gift to buy for someone since it's inexpensive.

Easy to Use

I recieved these in a grroming/first aid kid I purchased at a box store, they weren't sold seperately. I hate clipping my baby's nails. I often wait until he is asleep before trimming them because I am petrified he will wake and move and I'll clip too short. When my older sons were infants, the only nail trimmers available were made mostly of metal and had no way to get a solid grip on them. I know people have complained that these nail clippers are bulky, but I think that's what makes them so easy to use. I feel like when I hold them, I have an incredibly solid grip and my fingers aren't going to slip at the last second. I actually feel so confident that I often clip my baby's nails while he is wide awake.
