I love this super holding hair paste, I go through about four jars of this hair paste a year. I use it on my long locks after I flat-iron it or do a blow and style type hair-do. It gives my hair a really pretty, nice, sleek shine and it also has a really strong, sculpted kind of hold to it. All I have to do to make it work is apply it to my freshly flat-iron , or blow-dried hair and let it dry. The reason I only use this hair paste after and not before I have flat-ironed my hair is because it is meant to be for styling not heat-protection, using items meant for regular styling is never a good product to use while you are applying heat, it could really damage your hair. Besides, I use a whole other product before I use any kind of heat styling tool on my hair. This product smells really good too, it has that real sweet candy like smell that most other garnier fructris products are known to have.

By far this is the best Paste i've ever used. It really has a clean finish. its not sticky on your hands and goes smoothly onto your hair. It dries really well on your hair with no flaky residue. and when you wash it off its not gooey and yucky it just goes off naturally. it really softens your hair with a great scent. a little goes a long way, you don't have to use a lot to make it hold your hair, just a little. i don't use any other paste. i use it and my husband too, and he loves it, and he's a really picky guy with pretty much everything. My hair is wavy but not frizzy, and not straight. So it really helps with my overall hair and holding down of fly aways. I use it with wet hair and even dry. When I am running late i just put it on with no effort because it goes on smoothly, even when I don't brush my hair, it hides the tangles inside. I like using it after shower with my wet hair, because when my hair is all dried up my hair looks shiny and healthy.
