This is one of my all time favorite hair products. I bought this over a year ago just to give it a try and it was probably on sale at the time. I instantly fell in love with the volume and lift it provided for my hair. I spray this on my wet hair along the root lines. It sprays in an even fashion and doesn't saturate one area of the hair. I have thin, fine hair and this spray really gives me the volume I need. The best part is that it keep the volume in my hair as the day goes on. If I do not use this product, my hair looks completely different. It looks lifeless and limp. It seems harder to find this product in my local drugstores and I really hope they are not thinking about discontinuing this item. I recently bought this at a local grocery store and bought all 4 bottles that they had on the shelf. I love this product, its inexpensive, works so well, and smells even better. I would highly recommend this for anyone with thin hair that needs a little extra boost!

This hair styling product does a nice job of giving a little lift to flat roots - I have fairly thick and heavy hair and it was still able to provide the lift I was looking for. I simply spray at the roots and use a blowdryer to dry it a little while my fingers are still lifting - do a small section at a time and you only need to blow dry till the initial dampness is gone. Another nice thing about this product is that it has a nice, fruity smell yet is not sticky and does not leave a shiny look to your hair like when I have tried to "lift my roots" with regular hairspray. It washes out very easily and doesn't tend to leave a residue either. The bottle is small enough that it is easy to handle, especially one-handed as your other hand is lifting your hair. However, the bottle is not so small that it doesn't give you much product for your money - this product is reasonably priced and is comparable to the salon products I have used before.

Why is it that every time I find a good root booster spray for my thinning hair, I develop an allergic reaction to it? I've read nothing but good reviews about Garnier Fructis Body Boost Root Booster. It's the kind of product you apply to your roots and then blast with a dryer. It smells wonderful. And, I do like the way it adds noticeable volume to my hair. It really does work! However, this product includes an ingredient I just can't tolerate. After three happy days of volume, my scalp began to itch, and I noticed a little redness at my hairline. The itching and redness disappeared after I stopped using it for a couple of days. Since I had this experience, I recommend this product as a good root booster, but think that users with sensitive skin should do a patch test first.

I like using garnier fructis style body boost root booster (Extreme hold) it really works well at giving my naturally straitght (bodyless) hair a little lift. I like that it comes in an almost gel form that you apply with a spritzer. It is probably the best root booster that I have tried. It is pretty long lasting compared to other brands that I've tried. The biggest problem that I have is that I manage to end up with huge amounts of hair that stand almost straight up on top of my head that I then have to use another product on to get to lay down again. Maybe you just can't have it both ways though. If you want long lasting hold this is a great produt to use, just be prepard for it to work a little too well on some of those shorter hairs that may be hiding on the top of your head as you will need to get them back down again. I think that it is far better though to deal with that then to get a boost that will fade before the day is out. all in all, I think it is a good buy.
