This just didn't work for me and my cats at all. I have a multi cat household and I had 2 cats that just weren't getting along. I had several people recommend this product. But it just wasn't effective for me. I tried the product exactly as the directions suggested. I found a much less expensive product that ended up working for me. But this product just didn't do what it claimed. I do however know people that have used it and are perfectly happy with it. So as with any product it just depends on the people or animal and whether or not it will work for you. Because not every product can work for everyone. I'm just not sure why I got zero results when I tried this. I was really expecting great results. I still wonder if I got a product that just wasn't working properly. Maybe the diffuser itself wasn't functioning properly. It did last longer than it claimed it would so that may be the issue that I had with this product. It's supposed to have pheromones in it that are proven to calm cats. It's supposed to help with anxiety, litter box issues, etc. You just plug it into an outlet and let the difuser do it's job. Unfortunately it didn't work for my cats.

All of the Feliway products are absolutely amazing. I first encountered Feliway at my vet-- they had the diffuser in their examining room.My normally high strung little lady became very quiet and well behaved--and she even purred and paddled with her paws on the table. That was enough to convince me to try Feliway at home. We started out with the 30 ml. spray before buying the diffuser--and the spray did work well, but it didn't last very long, and you have to let it dry for 15minutes before exposing your cat to it. The diffuser, on the other hand, is a plug in and forget. The cartridges last at least 30 days, and they seem to last longer in cool weather for some reason. Both my male, Pixel, and my female, Sneakers, like to chill out on the floor about 3 feet from the diffuser when they have had a long day or we have had company. When we had to sit a friend's dog for a day, my cats practically slept on top of the diffuser the entire time! I have also noticed that Sneakers is much quieter when she is in heat since we bought the diffuser. When we add some catnip during her heat time, she is much happier than she used to be. Overall, Feliway is one of the best investments I have made for my cats, and I would definitely recommend it for any cat owner, or as a gift.

We bought this after the vet recommended it for our cat with anxiety issues. It was easy to find (picked it up at pet supply plus), but a little expensive. The design of the plug in made it a bit hard to find an open spot on a plug for it. We noticed a change in our cats almost immediately. Our youngest has never gotten on with the other two, and is constantly fighting with them. After we installed the diffuser they barely fought, and were able to be in the same room without a lot of hissing and growling, or hair flying everywhere. We also noticed that our youngest stopped her anxious chewing of her fur. Her separation anxiety got a bit better as well, which was a definite plus. Overall our cats just seemed really mellow, but not at all drugged. The vet said putting one of these by the litter box would also keep the cats from urinating outside the box, but we haven't been able to pick up another one to try this out. We ran out awhile ago and haven't been able to pick up another one. The fighting and anxiousness all returned, so I'm 100% convinced this product not only works - but works GOOD!

If I could give this 10 stars I would.  I have two Bengal cats, one male and one female.  The male is quite a bit bigger than the female and he can be "overly playful" at times.  I have been afraid that he might accidentally hurt his little sister.  He is very active and used to jump up on me and his play bites would be a bit rough sometimes.  Of course Bengals are known to be very energetic cats.  This product has totally changed our lives.  I tried it initially when we were moving into our first house to help ease the transition for them and because the previous owners had a cat.  They never had any problems adjusting and I noticed that his behavior was a little calmer.  Of course after 30 days the diffuser ran our and I notice that he started acting up again.  I immediately went out to buy a refill.  Now I won't go without the product.  It really does work wonders and I highly recomment it to any cat owner who is having behavior problems.  I can't explain how it works but it does.  Please try it!!!

On a visit to our vet with one of our cats, I started discussing another cat with him. I told him how our male cat had been chewing at his leg. It looked awful. He began this behavior when we moved to our new home. Every attempt was made to divert his attention to other positive behavior, but wasn't working. The vet recommend us trying Feliway before I brought him in and could possibly need medication for the behavior. WOW! Before the first container was empty, his leg was completely healed. No more chewing! The hair grew back and now he is behaving as a kitten again. We are so pleased with his response to the synthetic pheromones. Yes, it is pricey at the vet's office, but you can order it on-line for half of the cost. It just takes a little digging to find it at a price that makes your wallet happy. As with most products we look for, sometimes you will find a sale or just free shipping. For our family, it works. We have 4 beautiful cats, living in harmony due to Feliway.

We were very hopeful when purchasing this product.  Our cats have a bad habit of urinating on the carpet when we're away from the house for more than a full day.   I guess that must be their way of telling us they're not happy with the cat sitter.  We had read so many success stories with the Feliway plug-ins.  We bought 6 of them and plug them throughout the house.  When we came home from vacation, we still found urine in the "usual" spots.   I'm so disappointed! On the plus side, we couldn't smell the fumes coming from the diffuser.  However, i did feel "funny" when they were plugged in while we were home.  It's hard to describe the feeling, it's just a general and mild feeling of unwell.  And it would happen EVERYTIME we had them plugged in.  I thought it was quite pricey, but i was willing to pay if the product would work.  It feels like a big waste of money since it didn't work on our cats.  Don't believe it when it says it makes your cats happy!

My son recently left for the Navy and everything he left behind became my responsibility, including his two female cats (spayed). We already had one male cat (neutered), a very spoiled only child cat and didn't know how this would go. We heard about Feliway and found it cost less to order it through online Petsmart, so we bought two. In the meanwhile, since all the kitty's are naturally friendly, we slowly introduced the new ones to our kitty. All was going well but all of them where still jumpy and skittish and walked on egg shells around eachother. That is until the day the Feliway arrived. We plugged one unit in the back of the house for my sons kitties and the front of the house for our kitty. Within a half an hour they where meeting in the middle, touching noses, and rolling on the floor!! Everyday they are becoming more friendly with eachother. Just yesterday my son's older kitty tried to give ours a bath!!! I'm sold.

We have two cats, one we rescued as a kitten from a dumpster 3 years ago and one we adopted from the humane society last year. Our newer cat from the humane society was terrorizing our original cat to the point that I was considering giving her back.  No matter how gradually we tried to indroduce them, give rewards/praise for behaving near each other, or separated thier food and litter boxes, it got to the point that I locked them in separate parts of the house if I wasn't home, because I didn't trust the new cat to leave the old cat alone.  As a result of all the stress our old cat became very skittish and nervous.  I tried Feilway plug-ins as a last resort.  It's supposed to mimic the "happy cat" phermones released by momma cats with thier kittens.  Literally within a few days (maybe 3) of plugging in the Feliway diffuser, our old cat noticably calmed down and started socializing like she used to.  The new cat stopped all the territorial behavior and no longer tried to chase the old cat off her food.  By the time the diffuser had been plugged in 2 weeks, the cats were starting to sleep on the bed together (not curled up together, just near each other) at night and sit in the same windowsill to watch the birds.  The response they had to this product is nothing short of amazing.  I have to refill it every month but it's worth it to keep both of them stress-free and getting along. I've noticed when the diffuser runs out, I don't even have to look at it to know; the cats start reverting to thier old unfriendly behavior.  As long as I keep the diffuser working everything is great.  My vet recommended this product and said over time (several months probably) I won't have to use it anymore, they cats will eventually associate each other with the "happy cat" smell and get along on thier own.  This stuff is a life saver and we didn't have to give our new cat back to the shelter!  Highly recommend it!
