Everyday Minerals Make-up Flat Top Brush works great until the glue falls apart.  When I first used Everyday Minerals Bamboo Flat Top Brush, it was awkward to use, due to it's larger than average brush size. The brush side has a very stiff, firm feel. I have normally worked with more fluffy-like brushes. However, as I came to use it, I found it placed my makeup mineral base on more evenly, and I really liked the results. However, I did find it used up way more powder, than I would normally use. Unfortunately, after about 7 months of use, the brush started falling apart. Now, it is completely unusable. It looks like just crazy glue was used to keep it in place.  However, I have a different brush from Everyday Minerals that has lasted over a year or so. It is called a Kabuki brush. I love using it, though at first it was strange using such a tiny handled brush. I enjoy using Everyday Mineral brushes, knowing it feels natural and is cruelty free.

I love EveryDay Minerals as a brand. I always get the make your own 12 item package (for the discount) and I have two of these brushes to alternate to apply my everyday minerals powder foundation (loose powder). I find this very easy to use, just tap into the foundation, swirl, and then blend and buff into the skin. The synthetic fibers are similar to EcoTools which I find very nice. The brush is densely packed, which means it takes  a while to dry. Hence, I got two so that I had another brush to use when my first one is drying. My first one I've had for 2 years and the only complaint with it is that the ferule (metal part attaching the hairs to the handle) and the handle detached.  I had to super glue it back together. You should not keep the metal ferule immersed in water (I never did, but this still happened). But my second brush which I've had for a year and also use regularly, this has not happened yet.

The Everyday Minerals Make-up Flat Top Brush is a super soft, dense brush for applying mineral foundation.  This was my first non-Bare Minerals brush and it is SOOO soft in comparison.  It is made from synthetic fibers and a renewable bamboo handle.  It is a great option for the eco-conscious.  The handle is relatively short, but it is weighty.  It is easy to hold on to and feels great in my hand.  I think this is best for medium to heavy coverage because the bristles are very dense with this brush, allowing you to pick up plenty of minerals.  It does a great job buffing in my mineral foundation.  It does take over night to dry because of the density of the bristles, but that isn't really a problem for me.  It is always dry and ready for me to use the next morning. I love this brush.  I recommend this brush to anyone who likes a full coverage with their mineral foundation.  You don't need a scratchy brush to apply mineral makeup.
