Lets face it, how many of us like shaving every day? I have so many other things I would rather do with my time than spend 15 minutes every morning shaving. When I saw the Dove Ultimate Clear Anti Perspirant in Nature Fresh scent, I thought I would give it a try. I bought it in the middle of the summer when the average high was about 95 degrees. Now, I should let you know that I feel like I sweat more than the average person, but it usually is not an issue unless I am running. I have never had a problem with having sweaty armpits as long as I use an anti perspirant. I used this the first day and I was surprised by the smell. It is very fresh and light. By lunch time, I was noticing that my armpits were sticky. They weren't wet, but sticky. So, I figured I didn't put enough on. The next day I put more on than the day before, and I again had the same problem. I also did not notice any difference in hair growth.

Dove deodorant has been my preferred deodorant brand for several years now, and this is currently my favorite variety among the types of Dove deodorant.  Of course, most importantly for deodorant, it works well, even in the summer months.  I also like the light, fresh fragrance- it's not overpowering, which saves you from the bad experience I had in fourth grade when my friend said, "Someone's wearing too much deodorant!"  It is also soft and moisturizing.  Now what about the claims this deodorant makes?  According to the back, this deodorant will make your underarm hair soft, fine, and easy to remove, and your underarm hair will look and feel less noticeable.  I'm not convinced that this deodorant, or any deodorant for that matter, does this.  I haven't noticed any profound changes in my underarm hair since using this deodorant.  However, if you're looking for an effective deodorant, this works.

I was excited by Dove ultimate visibly smooth's promise to minimize the visual appearance of hair over time. Sadly, for me I noticed very little, if any difference.  I usually am a fan of dove products but this one fell short for me. On the positive side, teh scent is pleasant, and it is more moisturizing so my underarms don't feel as chafed and irritated as they have in the past.  I would agree that it worked to smoothe and condition my skin under my arms.   On the negative side, I don't think the pro-epil complex did what it was advertized to do,but worse than that, the deoderant did a poor job of keeping me fresh and dry.  I did use this product in the summer time but I often felt sweaty.  When I compared it to the active ingredients on my other deoderants it contained a lower concentration of the active ingredients.  I used two full bottles of this deoderant hoping to give it a fair chance but I was not impressed.
