Dentyne Pure sugar-free gum, mint with melon accents has an incredibly pure minty, sweet taste, without having a weird aftertaste like some other brands of sugar-free gum. I love how this gum has just enough sweetness from the melon to keep the mint from being too overbearing and strong. This is the only mint gum I can chew that doesn't cause my eyes to water.

I recently tried Dentyne Pure for the first time. I saw it while at the register of my local grocery store and thought it looked like something to try since I was wanting some gum anyway. I am usually not a huge fan of gum with different flavors mixed together and usually opt for just a peppermint or spearmint gum but I decided to try the mint with melon accents gum for a change. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was nice and refreshing. The flavor lasted a long time and made my breath smell great. I liked the size of the pack because it fit right into my small purse without taking up too much room. I also liked that it is sugar free, feels like a healthier option to regular gum.

I've bought both flavors of this (are there just two?) and loved them both. They have a nice little liquid center to add some umph. Like they said in the ad, this gum doesn't "mask" bad breath with a minty flavor for a few minutes, and it doesn't give you that crappy aftertaste in your mouth from sugar. After I've eaten a meal, I can count on this gum to save my breath and when I throw it away I'm still feeling fresh.

There are so many gums to choose from so I have been trying out various gums. My favorite pick so far is the Dentyne Pure Mint with Melon accents. The taste lasts long and my mouth is minty fresh. It does not harden after chewing for more than twenty minutes. This is a great gum and I would recommend trying it.

I'm not normally a Dentyne gum chewer but I took a chance and bought a pack of the new Dentyne Pure & I just love it!! I enjoy both flavors, the Peppermint & the Mint with Melon accents. It tastes great when I first chew it, the flavor lasts long & keeps my breath fresh the whole day. I am now an avid Dentyne gum chewer.  I keep a pack of this gum with me at all times, in my purse, in my car, at home in my desk drawer, anywhere that I might need or want a piece of gum. My kids love this gum too, it is not too strong for them, or too "minty"!  I don't mind them chewing this because it is sugar free.

Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum is my new favorite gum. I would be lost without this gum with me at all times. It really does freshen the breath like no other gum can. I am a busy woman with no time to brush between meals, so I pop in a piece of Dentyne Pure gum and I know that my breath is as fresh as if I had just brushed my teeth. I love this gum. And, I don't have to worry about the calories or the sugar hurting my teeth because there isn't any sugar and practically no calories. I don't go anywhere without it.

Dentyne has formulated a great tasting, sugar free chewing gum that doesn't cover-up bad breath, it neutralizes bad breath odors caused by bacteria and food. I was lucky enough to receive a sample pack of 9 peices of this gum, and it's amazing. Each of the six members of my family have chewed a peice of **Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum, Mint w/Melon Accents**, and every single one of us love everything about it. The taste is minty with a little bit of melon that makes it taste a lot better than other mint flavored gums. When my husband and four sons chewed this gum, they had no idea that it was sugar free and they all loved the taste and so did I. Each piece of Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum, Mint w/Melon Accents contains 40% fewer calories than regular sugared gum. They reduced the calories in this sized piece of gum from 6 to 3 1/2 calories. There is nothing strange tasting or odd about this gum. It's not sticky or weird feeling when it's being chewed. It tastes great and it "**purifies bad breath anytime, anywhere**". They named this new 'breakthrough' ingredient that neutralizes bad breath odors *Neutra Fresh*. **Ingredients: **Maltitol , Gum Base , Sorbitol , Natural and Artificial Flavoring , Maltitol Syrup , Erythritol , Less Than 2% Of: Acesulfame Potassium , Aspartame , Blue 1 , Candelilla Wax , Gelatin , Glycerin , Soy Lecithin , Sucralose , Titanium Dioxide , Xylitol , Yellow 5, and PHENYLALANINE. I'm not cray about the fact that **Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum, Mint w/Melon Accents **contains PHENYLALANINE, (an ingredient used in the manufacture of food and drink products and sold as a nutritional supplement for its reputed analgesic and antidepressanteffects. It is a direct precursor to the neuromodulator phenylethylamine, a commonly used dietary supplement), but  I'm not planning on chewing it constantly, and am confident that I'm not going to chew enough of this gum to alter my brain's chemicals. Dentyne says this chewing gum is **"the new way to practice safe breath"**. **Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum, Mint w/Melon Accents **neutralizes bad breath, is sugar free, only has 3 1/2 calories, tastes great, and now that I know it exists, I won't chew anything else. Why would I? I can think of more than a few people I really hope discover this gum! I imagine you can think of a few, too. Let's all chew this gum and get rid of stinky breath for good.

I received a full-sized pack (9 pieces) of this gum in the mail as a free sample.  The gum is sugar-free, low cal,  mint-flavored with melon accents, and boasts the ability to freshen breath.  After trying a piece, I was impressed with the delicious flavor, how long the flavor lasted, and how it freshened my breath.  I would definitely pay money for this gum.

Dentyne has always been one of my favorite chewing gums so I am sorely disappointed.  This is one of those things where I would have to say "If it's not broken, why fix it".  Had I not recieved a sample myself and known that this product was Dentyne, I would have never guessed it by the taste.  Dentyne has had it's own unique taste and this new gum is missing the mark.  The old Dentyne left a tingling and fresh feeling in my mouth which seemed to last for a long while.  ***Dentyne Pure  ***is just ok.  Nothing remarkable.  Not a gum that I would go out of my way to buy.  This gum lost the flavor quite fast.  Dentyne Pure also guarantee's to purify your breath but with the taste being so subtle, I can't say that this is true.  Again, the original Dentyne gum seemed to serve this purpose very well.  Dentyne Pure Sugar Free Gum comes in Mint Melon and Mint with Herbal accents flavor.  The nutrition facts are as follows:  Carbs 1%, Total Fat 0%, Protein 0% and Sodium 0%.  9 pieces of gum per package.
