I have found Clinique to be a "you never know what you are going to get" cosmetic company. The** Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie **gloss is no exception. There's good, there's bad, but no ugly. Two out of three's not bad. I received this gloss in a bonus gift. My chosen color is *Goodness Grapecious*, a dusty purple color that goes on with a hint of color. The shine is remarkable and my first impression is "I love this stuff!" With a little wearing of the gloss, however, my impression is, "Why did you leave in such a hurry?" I expected a bit more staying power, I guess. I like the gloss so much though I don't mind reapplying it every now and then. The** Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie** is an anti-oxidant gloss, that means the Vitamin C should nourish the lips while moisturizing and protecting them. I don't how much Vitamin C is in the formula, but a little is better than none. No complaints in the anti-oxidant department. My biggest complaint about the **Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie** is the container. The gloss is packaged in a plastic tube complete with a twist up applicator brush. Each usage requires 3 or 4 twists. The brush spreads out in use which makes precision application a bit difficult. **Bottom Line:** ** **I love many Clinique products so I am more than disappointed when I come across something I don't like. That said, I really like the way this gloss looks when it is on my lips. The color is sheer and not overbearing. The texture is not gloppy or heavy. In fact, I LOVE the gloss. I just don't like the container. I REALLY don't like the container. Did I mention I don't like the container?

I love this new lip smoothie and my favorite color is Blackberry Nirvana.  It feels nice on and goes on smooth with a nice light to medium color and for me it stays on for awhile.  I loved it so much I bought one for my mother-in-law in the red tint for Christmas.  This Blackberry color reminds me of the Black Honey color which goes with a lot of skin tones. I'm very satisfied with this product!

I love Clinique, but I was less than impressed when I received a sample of their Vitamin C lip smoothie along with a purchase. It goes on in globs and is a very unattractive color, or at least the one I received. I received the goodness grapecious color and it is such a stand-out color. I find it hard to believe that it would look good on anyone. It took me a while to figure out how to work it. You turn the end and the lip gloss comes out onto the brush. A lot comes out at once, leaving you with a huge glob of color mess to put on your lips. The lip colour comes off very easy too. I took one sip of my coffee and pretty much all of my color was gone. I find that the tube is very messy, as so much colour comes out at once. I don't exactly know what Clinique's claim is about the lip colour either, being as it is labeled "vitamin C." My lips did not feel any different when using the product.

I think Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie is a nice lip gloss. It is in a really nice container that just twists up to release onto a nice lip brush. Clinique offers this lip gloss in a wide variety of colors, which is really a nice thing. I also really love how this lip gloss leaves your lips shiney, but not too shiney. It is not one of those thick goopy glosses. It is a thinner gloss, which means it does not have a super long staying power. I wish this had a flavor to it. I am not really sure to describe how it tastes, but I do not like it. It also seems to run out really quickly. It does leave your lips conditioned and sofy with a nice hint of shimmer. The color is shear but I like that. I would recommend this if you are just wanting a simple gloss to condition your lips and leave a little shimmer and shine. If you want something that tastes good or stays a long time, I would not recommend this lip gloss.

Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie came to me in the gift with purchase pack. I got the Mango-Thon. I love the color. It is a neutral color that goes with anything. I like the fact that it feels like I am doing something good for my lips. But Really? Am I? The packaging says Vitamin C, but I start to wonder how much vitamin C does it really contain? And how is Vitamin C good for your lips when applied to the surface? Does it really do anything good or healthy?  This is a lip gloss so I do not really expect it to last a long time. And it does not last at all if you want to know the truth. It does have attractive packaging with a roll-up applicator brush. You click the end and the gloss comes out of the brush. Pretty conveinent. Alot easier than the gobs of gloss you get on the standard gloss sponge applicator. Overall, I would say this is an average product with average expectations. I still love Clinique's products, but I would not buy this particular one.
