Although the Clarins Sunscreen Soothing Cream Progressive Tanning SPF 20 did indeed give me a nice tan and glow, it just felt kind of greasy. My face felt like oil and also, the scent was too strong. It sort of made my nauseous after smelling that on my face all day.

Clarins sunscreen soothing cream progressive tanning was anything but spectacular. I've been pleased with other Clarins products but if I could give it half a star I would. The first thing that caught me off guard was the smell. I figured it would wear off after a little while but it never did and since it was on my face I had the pleasure of constantly inhaling an unpleasant smell all day. The second was how greasy it felt after applying it, even after I gave it time to absorb into my skin. I tried to dust a little powder over my face later in the day and it just made it worse. I ended up looking like I was wearing a mask of heavy foundation. It did give me a nice natural glow though after a few days of use and I did recieved compliments at work and from friends. However after a few days the product started to build up and eventually began to flake off. If you do try this product I recommend trying it on your day off to give you ample time to air-out and to avoid walking around with an oil slick o your face. It's nice that it has sunscreen and giveds you a glow but I think there are far better products out there.

Not to big a fan of this product.......it seemed greasy on my skin and in general I just wasn't overwhelmed to purchase it again. Was it helpful when I was tanning? I suppose it was, however I would probably try something different next time.........

i REALLY LIKED USING THIS PRODUCT.  IT IS A SAFE AND EFFECTIVE WAY TO TAN WITHOUT USING THE REAL SUN. I HAVE STOPPED SUN TANNING IN THE SUN DUE TO THE DANGERS OF SUN EXPOSURE AND SKIN CANCER. I FIND THAT KEEPING YOUR SKIN HEALTHY AND MOISTURIZING WITH THE HELP OF SUNSCREEN IS THE BEST WAY TO GO. THERE IS A LIGHT FRAGRANCE TO THIS NON OILY LOTION WHICH MAKES MY SKIN FEEL SOFT AND SUPPLE. THERE ARE NO DRAMATIC CHANGES TO MY SKIN, IT IS A VERY GRADUAL PROCESS AND IT IS NOT NOTICEABLE THAT I AM USING A PRODUCT TO TAN MY SKIN. I ALSO FEEL THE NAME CLARINS IS A STRONG PRODUCT TO USE AND FEEL COMFORTABLE IN USING MANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS, IT IS ALSO NOT THAT EXPENSIVE EITHER. I FEEL CONFIDENT AND SAFE USING IT AND HAVE HAD NO SIDE EFFECTS OR ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO THE PRODUCT. DUE TO IT BEING A PROGRESSIVE PRODUCT I AM TANNING IN SLOW BUT SAFE PROCESS AND THAT MAKES ME HAPPY. I PRIDE MYSELF IN THE FACT THAT I NO LONGER WORSHIP THE SUN AND I AM GLAD THAT I DO NOT RELY ON THE SUN TO GIVE ME A HEALTHY GLOW.
