This brand, color and kind of coloring is what I feel safe using since I will never use permanent hair coloring period. Permanent coloring damages not only your hair, but the chemicals also go into your body and can also cause longterm brain damage. So i generally stick to semi-perm dies with soy in them to avoid any high risk for damage internally & externally. Thank you Clairol! Effectiveness Very effective for covering up gray areas when you just want to use part of formula instead of all of it. It doesn't just cover up areas, it also seems to nourish the hair and give it that extra shine each time its used. It lasts for several weeks instead of just few. Very pleased overall with it. Ease of Application Very easy to understand instructions and easy to use and store. There is very little preparation or mess involved every time. My applications have lasted me several months on just one bottle. Clairol has an outstanding reputation in my book!
