Actually tastes like a piece of fudge.
For the last couple of years, when I go to see my gynecologist, he reminds me that I need to be taking calcium supplements. I am not a good vitamin taker. I'll be diligent for a couple of weeks, and then stop taking them. However, I decided that I might have better luck with a calcium chew than with a pill. When I went to the grocery store to look for calcium supplements, I saw the chocolate fudge variety of CalCet chews. They were more expensive than the generic brand, but on the package they actually looked appealing, so I decided to give them a try. Opening the package, the pieces truly look like small squares of fudge. Even better, they taste and have a texture like fudge. I felt like I was cheating and having dessert rather than a calcium supplement. It's probably a little sad that I have to be tricked into taking my vitamins, but I actually found myself looking forward to my little square of CalCet in the morning and after dinner. The only downside is that this brand is more expensive than a generic brand, but I do think that the taste makes the extra expense worthwhile, especially for someone like myself who will look for any excuse to stop taking a supplement.
