I have had this product for over one year. It was exciting and useful for about one month. Then, as other reviews that I read stated, it went into "sleeping" mode and it is impossible to get it to work again. I have realigned it, changed batteries, moved it very close to the receiver, etc. but nothing I do makes it wake up. It did help by showing me what each of my appliances use in electric and made me much more aware of where energy may be getting wasted. I would recommend that you use it and save all the packaging and receipt, so you can take it back for a refund a few weeks later!
