The product is so awesome it have medium hold and high shine and becuse of the shine it didnt works with my hair becuse i have greasy hair, if you're like me try american crew classic fiber it works with my hair so perfectly!

This is the best hair product I've ever used. It has great hold; good shine; nevertheless you can get similar products much cheaper. Just a smallish dab, like maybe a teaspoon does the job for me. the product smells nice, and lasts throughout the day. i would recommend it for hairstyles that are slightly longer.

So Pomade is a substance that is supposed to act like a gel/wax/product for your hair. What makes pomade different ( and A.Crew does a good job labeling it as such ) is light hold and high shine. The pomade from other companies tends to be very geese and it does not wash out of your hair. This in comparison is quite good and gives you no late night problems. It's hold, like most A.crew products is weak if you start sweating so you should plan your day accordingly and potential use some stronger product ( like A.Crew Fiber if that is on the schedule ), The shine is actually pretty great. Its not overdone so you don't look ridiculous. It actually makes it appear like you have highlights in your hair, which is a nice boost to almost any hair style. Don;t be afraid to mix this product with other stronger products. This product provides an excellent shine and when paired with a small amount of hairspray can produce a really great set.

I'm a fan of American Crew products first and foremost. But only because each of their products always holds up well, easily besting the competition in terms of quality and longevity. This mostly defines my experience with American Crew's Pomade; I did actually use their gel previously, but found that despite giving less shine and a definitive product-user look to my hair than cheaper alternative gels, still wasn't quite what I was looking for. The Pomade however is what I want, the ability to style my hair with minimal shine and 'crunch.' It's less of an issue when I'm in humid climates, but when I go somewhere dry, my hair loves to puff up and it's much appreciated to have a product that brings my hair to a decent level without being a blatent ad for hair products. Now there's a clear difference between comparing a wax to a gel, and so ignoring the gels which do not fit my needs, American Crews Pomade still fits the bill, as competing waxes are often guilty of being thick in the hair and making taking it out a chore and a necessity. With the Pomade, even if I break up my hair as the day goes on, it does not feel that there is product in my hair, which is an important trait. In terms of use, I prefer to use it with wet hair as it's easier to spread, just needing to mix it in my hand so that there are no white chunks left in the hair after. The pomade does not smell too strong either so you won't have to worry about offending someone's senses either. All in all, this product does an excellent job at styling without being blatently obvious, which is exactly for a user like me.

American Crew Pomade holds hair very well, but almost to well.  You don't need a lot of product in your hair to get it to hold but you also can't spread it through your hair very easily.  You almost have to target certain areas of your hair that you want to use it to hold in order to get it in your hair.  But it does hold your hair in place no matter where you use it better than any other pomade that I have ever used.  It is very shiny product.  Since American Crew Pomade does not spread very well it does tend to clump up in your hair at times.  The smell is OK, but it is very chemically smell.  American Crew Pomade is the best pomade I have ever used.  American Crew Pomade's hold is also the best holding product I have ever used.  On the other hand, American Crew Pomade is very expensive.  The cost and quality of it makes it hard to recommend this product, but if you are looking for hold, than look no further.

I got this from a friend of mine who is a beautician in Chicago for Christmas and I was really excited to use it because Ive heard about this  and wanted to see if it lived up to its reputation.  First ive heard that this is better than gel because it doesnt make your hair look hard or crunchy. I also heard its better than hair-spray for the same exact reason.  It comes in a generous size cup and looks like wax from the inside. To apply, you take about a finger-full onto your finger and rub into you hand so that you can emulsify the wax.  Then apply to dry hair and style to desire.  Well, doing as described I notice that my hair did have a very nice shine to it,  not glossy like hair spray or mousse but a natural shine like. So that is the biggest plus for me.  Second the hair does hold in place the way you styled it which is great but I wish I had gotten a slightly,  and i mean just slightly, stronger hold because Im usually fixated on whether it does hold in place or not.  Overall i like the product and think its an improvement from typical hair stuff. Wouldve given it a perfect 5 star but I need to find one that holds slightly stronger.
