We got an Acer Netbook for my teenage daughter so she would have something portable to use for fun. She had it all of two weeks when the first signs of trouble appeared. The screen would go blank while she was using it. Take it back to the store to find out they send it to Acer for warranty work. It would have been faster for us to just send it ourselves. We get it back after about two weeks and she uses it for a couple of months. Two keys fall off the keyboard, the top, the screen part, comes unhinged and the thing won't close right and then it won't turn on. After many calls to Acer trouble shooting it, we send it back to them for more warranty work. We have to pay shipping to and from. They had to change the internal drive or something like that and back it comes. Long story short, it was sent in two more times and it's barely hanging on. I'm going to recycle it when we get her a laptop for her birthday next month. This thing is JUNK - don't waste your money on it.
