I had a bassinet left from my older daughter, however I realized it was on recall when I pulled it out to use it with my new baby. I liked that bassinet very well, so I searched really hard to find a good replacement. What I found was The First Years 5-in-1 Bassinet. This bassinet really has it all! The features on it have all been very useful to me. It has a vibration setting, which you can increase or decrease based on what you need at the time. There is a built in sound machine with a couple of different options to choose from. There is also a very convenient and bright night light. It has proved very useful for us for middle of the night diaper changes. Another neat thing about this bassinet is that you can actually pick up the 'bed' part and carry it around like a Moses basket. We have only used this feature once or twice as our house is small and we really have no need to carry our daughter anywhere else other than where the bassinet is stationed. You can lock the wheels on this bassinet, or you can push them up and make the bassinet rock able. I really like that you can raise and lower the bassinet as you need to. This has been a great feature for us because our daughter has reflux and we can raise the end where her head is.

I didnt put my baby in his crib right away and wanted to get a bassinet, however I wanted to get one that was practical and convenient too. I came across this one here while perusing the baby department and just knew that it would be what I was looking for. It has a light that you can switch on to check on baby during the night that is not too bright to wake the baby, but bright enough to check up on him. It has different calming/soothing sounds to lull baby to sleep and it also has a vibrating function as well. It features soft hanging toys that can be removed easily because its attached with velcro.The top part of the bassinet where the baby sleeps in can be detached and used as a carrier that can recline or incline as well. The bassinet can be rocked back and forth. This can also be used as a diaper changing station and has a roomy enough area underneath to store baby's diapers, wipes, extra blankets, etc. This was an excellent bed to use for the baby up until he was about 3 months old and was starting to outgrow this. This product was definitely worth the money spent on it. Great value.
