I'm a really big fan of using bottled drops like visine and other notable brand names, but after visiting my eye doctor for some pretty bothersome dry eye symptoms I was recommended these eye drops. They come in little individual vials that you rip open and use one at a time, and there are usually about 20-30 in a box. They're supposed to be a lot better for your eyes because they don't contain the preservatives that a lot of brands like visine and other bottled eye drop companies put into their drops to increase their shelf life. I honestly wasn't that impressed with the systane. They do provide moisture but I wouldn't say it's far superior moisture to some other drops, like the Visine for tired eyes. Maybe it's better for your long-term eye health, but just regarding moisture, it's nothing spectacular. I also found myself scratching my eyeball from time to time with the plastic edge of the vial, so they're definitely hard to use and maybe even a bit dangerous. Just for ease and safety, I much prefer something in a bottle, and systane does actually make a bottled version of their drops that I do like much better. These are okay though, if you are careful about not scratching yourself.

When I read or watch tv, my eyes tend to dry out a lot. And usually in the late afternoon or evening I feel the dryness coming on as well. A friend introduced me to Systane Lubricating Eye Drops about a year ago. Now I keep them all the time for my dry eyes. The drops are also good for when I get something in my eye and have to flush the irritant out. This happens a lot in the summer as I am the lawn keeper at my house and grass/dust is always flying out of the mower and into the air. In the early spring, I have to keep the bottle handy for allergies - not for the itching but for the dryness after I've taken my allergy medicine. Allergy medicine dries me up pretty fast but it also dries out my eyes. When that happens, I reach for the Systane bottle for relief. As I've gotten older, I find that I need the lubricating eye drops more often. I am sure there are many products that help with this problem but I am very thankful that someone introduced me to Systance Eye Drops. I'm sold on these drops and don't need to experiment with others.

I started using Systane Lubricant Eye Drops after years and years of suffering from red, dry irritated eyes that had gotten so bad my cornea was starting to scar. At first, I was put on antibiotic ointment and told to do lid scrubs after warm compresses on my eyes every morning and evening. Not only was this routine of lid scrubs/compresses mentally time consuming (psychologically, it seemed to take up more time in my day than it actually did), but it also made my eyes feel drier and the skin around my eyes taut. With Systane Lubricant Eye Drops, however, it was easy to give myself some soothing relief and moisture whenever I needed it. At first, I needed eye drops several times a day, depending on how I felt. But eventually, I moved on to needing them less and less. Obviously, that is the result of the combination of my treatments, but I am happy with how these eye drops helped me. I still like having this brand of eye drops on hand for whenever I feel like I need the occasional eye drop.

I was given a bottle of Systane by my eye doctor because I was complaining of my eyes burning and watering.  Well, come to find out it wasn't allergies, but dry eye.  If you ever had dry eye, you know how terrible it feels to have your eyes burning and watering all day.  I didn't use these at first because I had some Visine eye drops in my cupbard that I wanted to use up first.  Finally, I used the bottle and opened the bottle of Systane.  Boy, was I mad at myself for not using these drops right away!  They make my eyes feel so much better, they actually relieve my symptoms for quite awhile.  Of course, I wish they lasted longer, like forever, lol!  These drops are safe for your eyes and you do not become dependent on them like some eye drops.  I will be buying only this brand from now on, no more Visine for me.

I had lasik eye surgery about six years ago and after the surgery my doctor recommended that I use Systane eye drops to keep my eyes lubricated and comfortable feeling since my eyes tend to be a little dry.  Over the past six years I have tried a few different lubricating eye drops and I always go back to Systane. I find that one drop in each eye a few times a day keeps my eyes from feeling dry and it definitely helps to refresh my eyes when I have been using the computer for a while.  This is a fantastic product and I would recommend it.

I suffer from dry eye syndrome. I was prescribed an eyedrop for my eyes, but it just burned. It was bad either way, dry eyes itching or eye drop burning. But then it got to the point that I ended back at the doctor's. My left eye felt like it had glass in it. Turns out that I had ulcerated my cornea. I was sent to my eye doctor and he recommended Systane. He sent me home with a couple of sample bottles to use after my eye healed. What a pleasant surprise. After years of worthless eyedrops, (yes, like visine) and just plain going without because of worthless drops, I have found a good relief from my dry eye troubles. Systane is so wonderfully cooling. Once the drops hit, they coat and reieve my "pain". And they are not runny. So many eye drops just end up all over your face. But systane stays put. It is just the right viscousity to flow over the eye, instead of running off it. I was so happy to find a product like this. My only drawback is the price. If I could find a cheaper and similar product, I would buy it...till then, I have to pay the price.

Systane was recommended to me by an eye doctor after I scratched my cornea and had a severe eye infection.  I was at like 65% vision after a week of medical drops and now am at like 92% after a week of these drops!

Staring at a computer screen all day makes my dry eyes so much worse! They become red and burn and itch. Systane is such a relief! I've tried several other brands, more expensive brands, and they just don't compare. Using it 2 or 3 times a day does the trick. I do wish the results lasted a little longer, but so far, it's the best one out there.
