Works Great!

Static Guards Cling Spray is one of my favorite things to have around. Especially during the fall and winter months. It has many uses. Well two actually but two very good uses. We use it for our clothes to get the static out of course, just a little spray of it when your shirt or skirt decide to take on a life of their own and everything goes back to right as rain. My absolute hands down favorite way to use it is in my hair. I loathe when I have static is my hair it feels awful and my hair does things that make it look like a possession is going on. But take out your brush spray a little Static Guard Cling Spray on it run it through you hair and suddenly everything is right in the world again. I would advise against spraying it directly in your hair just to be safe. My only con to it is the over whelming smell it is a bit on the strong side, and it sticks around for awhile. It can feel a little suffocating if you go over board and spray to much of your Static Guard Cling Spray. So do go light when spraying it.

Eliminates Cling

5

I have used Static Guard Static Cling Spray for many years because it is a product that actually works. It comes in a couple of sizes, one that is small enough for your purse and one that is about the size of a container of hair spray. All you have to do is spray it on your clothing that might be developing a static cling. Instantly, this product works to eliminate static cling. It will work on your clothing, as well as other fabrics as I have used it on sheets or blankets that get very full of static in the winter. It's a little expensive but the product goes a long way. One large bottle has lasted me over a year. I find the product particularly useful when wearing panty hose and a skirt or dress as it keeps the fabrics from clinging. It does have a smell to it that isn't particularly pleasant but that smell fades away pretty quickly. I highly recommend this product for anyone who experiences static cling!

Static Guard Eliminates Static but I'm not Lovin' the Smell!

**Static Guard** has been around for years and years in the same style of can - a navy blue 5.5 oz. aerosol can with a bright orange cap.  The name **"Static Guard"** is boldly written in bright orange across the front of the can.  You can't miss it!  This product is also available in a 1.4 oz. tote size container. How many times have you pulled on a pair of slacks only to find them crawling up your legs?  Or donned a skirt and found it sticking to your nylons?  I have had these embarrassing moments, but have found a way to eliminate the dreaded "static cling" with none other than **Static Guard**.  This product instantly eliminates static cling on clothing caused by static electricity which is so common during the winter months. **Static Guard** is easy to use and safe for all colorfast fabrics including silks and satins.  Just spray **Static Guard** on the underside of slacks, skirts, dresses, etc. and it will work instantly to eliminate static on contact.  You may even spray **Static Guard** on your clothing while wearing. Are you familiar with getting shocked while pulling nylon socks out of the dryer?  You can even spray **Static Guard** on garments removed right out of the dryer. Another use for **Static Guard** is the easy removal of pet hair from your clothing or upholstery.  Spray on **Static Guard**, wait a minute or two, then brush or vacuum.  To prevent flyaway  hair, spray **Static Guard** on your hair brush before brushing and styling your hair. No more static! Even though the scent has been improved with a "fresh scent", the company would do us all a big favor by making **Static Guard** unscented.  I don't know of a person who likes the strong scent.  Thus my rating of only four stars for a five star product.   Thank you for reading my review.

Static Guard Static Cling Spray - Eliminates Static

5

Ok, I admit I was skeptical. Seems like spend the whole winter getting shocked or shocking someone because of static buildup. I use fabric softeners in the wash and sheets in the dryer to eliminate the static. Well it works on the clothes until I put them on my body. I must be electrified for the amount of static I create. So, I thought, what do I have to lose. Well, I have to admit I have been pleasantly surprised. I spray this on my tights or nylons in the morning and it elimates the static all day. i have used it on sweaters, pants, skirts and even the cat! It has made a huge difference for me. Yes, I can still shock someone but at least me skirts don't cling to my legs all day long. The only negative thing I have to say about this is the odor. I bought the Fresh Scent and it is rather overpowering when I first use it in the morning. I definitely will go for an odor free if they have it. I liked this so much I know carry a purse size as well. Finally, something that really works like it supposed to!

Static Guard is a staple of winter

5

We have always had a can of Static Guard around the house, ever since i was a kid, but i really didn't maximize the usefulness of it until this winter.  I used to get so frustrated with staticky hair, especially because my hair is extra long (waist length).  And it was always annoying to have clothes (particularly in artificial fibers like polyester) clinging to other clothes and skin, etc.  Part of the reason i didn't use Static Guard more often was that the "original" scent was icky!  I don't love the new "fresh" scent, but it's a lot better than the "original" stuff.  One thing that i really appreciate about using Static Guard to tame my fly-away hair is that it does a good job on the static, but doesn't make my hair oily or weighed down.  My hair still looks clean and not dulled down, and now i can wear whatever i want and let my hair down without looking like a staticky mess.  Static Guard also works long, i keep a travel size can in my purse but very rarely need to touch up except on really long days or if i'm removing and replacing layers frequently.  I just spray my clothes and comb when getting dressed in the morning and i'm good to go!

Eliminate static electricity in fabrics with Static Guard

4

Like so many of us, I dislike the static caused on my clothes and fabrics by the lack of moisture in the air. Although I use steamers in the house, some of my clothes gather static from rubbing together and I want / need a quick fix. Static Guard to the rescue. Generally I find it's the clothes that have a smooth lining that tend to cling and climb. A quick shot of Static Guard to the lining and everything hangs were it should. I've always sprayed my garments from the underside, partially because that's where the culprit liner is, but also, in case the product should splurt out and leave a clump on my clothes - no one sees. Like many others, I've also sprayed combs and brushes to help eliminate static buildup in my hair and the fun fly away look when I take off winter hats. To me a little goes a long way. The 5.5 oz bottle I have is date stamped 10/17/98 (that's over 12 years ago!) and I still have a bit of content in the can. My one dislike to the product is the odor. They probably make an unscented one by now and maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy a new can.

Static Guard should be in purse, home, and office.

Static Guard is a great product for preventing that annoying static cling that often creaps up on your clothing during the winter months. Spraying a little bit on slacks or skirts will prevent that uncomfortable creep up that static electricity produces. In addition, spraying it on your hairbrush  and combs will settle the static down in your tresses. I also use it to help pick up cat hair on my couch and pillows. The great thing about Static Guard is that you can buy little sample cans of it at stores and tuck them in your purse, suitcase, or desk drawer at work. There is no smell. The can says it has a "fresh" smell, but I can't really determine what that is. All I know is that the smell is not unpleasant. This product is also Made in the USA for those of us who go out of our way to buy USA made products. Therefore, one of the must have products for the impending winter months should be a can of Static Guard.

Static Guard --So Needed in Winter!

4

Between the heat running all day, the cold dry winter air, clothes fresh out of the dryer-- I look sort of like someone has run a ballon over my hair!  I have days when I touch anything I get a shock.  My hair crackles when I brush it.  Then I found Static Guard.  Now I can wear my sweaters again.  Simply hold the can about 10 inches away from the fabric you need to treat and spray lightly.  I have sprayed this product into my hairbrush and it has helped with the static in my hair.  Static is a silly but annoying problem.  Static Guard helps you deal with it.  If your clothes are coming out of the dryer with static try spraying them lightly with Static Guard.  The product is safe to spray onto carpets if you are having Static problems. ( I would check it first in a hidden area )  Static Guard makes life a little more comfortable during the long winter months.  The one drawback is I am not loving the scent.  An unscented version would be great!
