I am not a dyed-in-the-wool Starbucks fan (unbelievable, I know, since I live in Washington not too far from Seattle). My main reason for going to Starbucks is because 1) they have a drive-up (yay!); and 2) they are on my way to work.
Okay, I know it's unAmerican, but I have to say it: Starbucks coffee is the worst. When I've been tempted to buy it, I remind myself to tell the barrista to water it down with hot water and leave enough room for extra, extra cream. review »They just put a Starbucks in our grocery store here on the island (we live on an island outside a major coastal city). Everyone was excited - except I don't drink coffee!! So one cold morning I tried their hot chocolate on the way to the kids' soccer games. Sweet!! Literally!
It had the wonderful European chocolate taste, with a real milk/cream base. Not the usual hot water with powdered chocolate in it. The packaging was perfect - it kept it hot, it didn't spill in the car, and it was comfortable to hold. It wasn't a flimsy styrofoam cup with a lid that didn't fit like most places.

review »I love Starbuck's hot chocolates! They are the best! Make sure you get the signature hot chocolate, if you are a big fan of chocolate, its a lot chocolatier!! I also love the peppermint hot chocolate, omg! so good!
