The Smart Rinse Anticavity Fluoride Rinse in Berry flavor is really neat and useful. I initially bought some because I could get it cheap using a coupon with a sale. I loved the berry flavor...much different and tastier than mint. In addition to cleaning your mouth, it shows you where you've missed in brushing by turning it a pink color. Very cool indeed! And by seeing where you missed, it is very encouraging to try to brush well enough that it doesn't show anything! It makes it fun to brush and then see if you missed anything. I think it's a great tool in getting yourself in the habit of brushing correctly and thoroughly. If the same spots keep turning up as missed, you'll be more inclined to brush those spots better over time. It's a great reminder of keeping ourselves accountable. I thought the taste was mild enough yet flavorful enough to use on a daily basis. The size of the container is also a good size. Not so large that it's cumbersome, but not so small that you run out every other day either. The regular price is a bit steep, but keep your eyes open for coupons and sales.

After having amazing success getting my son to use the mint flavored Smart Rinse mouthwash I decided he might like a little variety and picked up the berry flavor for him to try out. First of all he thought the color was too girly so he may have bee a little predisposed to dislike it, but he doesn't like the flavor at all. The first time he tried it he mad a face at me like I was trying to poison him. After a few times using it he sort of begrudgingly accepted it, but he still doesn't like it and can't wait to finish it off and get a different kind. With the berry flavor, I feel like the clean smell of his breath doesn't last as long as it does with the mint. I think maybe it's difficult to mix a fruit flavor and a fresh smell in a way that really works. Like with the mint flavor, we didn't see the stuff left behind like this mouthwash is supposed to show, I don't really know what's up with that. I don't think we'll buy it again.

This mouthwash, I guess you could call it a mouth wash is great. It lets your kid know when they have missed spots while brushing. It will color the missed spots, so you can see them, and rebrush to get rid of the colored spots! I think it's great to help show a kid that even if they think they have gotten their teeth nice and clean, that maybe they didn't do as great a job as they thought! The taste is truly terrible, unless you are a kid. The kids don't seem to mind one bit! I love that it's from Listerine, it's a name I trust. Hopefully, we'll be seeing prolonged results with this mouth wash with no cavities in our future! I think it's a great idea, and a great way to check up on your little brusher!

I bought Listerine Smart Rinse Anticavity Fluoride Rinse, in berry flavor, for my son. At age five, he already had a cavity. So dental hygiene is even more important, so that he develops good habits before his permanent teeth come in. Like many people, we drink spring water or filtered water, so we probably do not get enough fluoride. Enter, Smart Rinse! After brushing his teeth, my son automatically reaches for the Smart Rinse bottle. I like how one squeeze premeasures just the right amount, with less waste or spill. He likes the taste, and feeling like a grownup using mouthwash. I must admit that I've taken to rinsing my biteguard in Smart Rinse before putting it in at night, too. So Smart Rinse is good for the entire family!

I really like this Listerine Anticavity Flouride Smart Rinse.  The Berry Shield flavor is very mild.  It doesn't burn your mouth like other strong mouthwashes, so it is good for everyone--children and adult alike.  It kills bad breath germs as well as providing a flouride rinse to help protect teeth.  This is the only mouthwash I use now because I don't see any reason why using a mouthwash needs to be painful.  And I don't like the bubble gum flavor of children's mouthwashes.  I like that it tints the particles you missed after brushing and flossing.  It's always kind of surprising because I pride myself a little bit on being a really good and conscientious brusher and flosser.  The only reason I didn't give this flouride rinse/mouthwash five stars is because they only put in half of the flouride that other flouride rinses have, so they recommend that you use this twice a day--which of course uses it up twice as fast--which makes it twice as expensive.

Just because I'm a grown-up, that doesn't mean that I want my mouthwash to hurt.  Listerine Smart Rinse Berry Shield does what a mouthwash should, but without the harsh burn of alcohol nor the mighty bite of mint.  It has a yummy berry flavor that will make you want to use it everyday.  I call it 'my toothpaste's dessert'.  It effectively kills bad breath, just like the adult mouthwashes, and leaves your mouth feeling clean and sweet.  The bottle features an easy squeeze-to-fill measuring cup, attached to the bottle, that ensures you get the right amount everytime, without any waste.  It also keeps the product fresh, and eliminates accidental spills.  Listerine Smart Rinse contains fluoride.  That helps to keep cavities at bay, making visits to the dentist's office much more pleasurable, not to mention saving your money for things that are more fun than getting your teeth drilled on.  At first I felt a little childish, using a berry flavored mouthwash, but I just couldn't handle the strong mint flavors that most brands offer.  Listerine Smart Rinse Berry Shield flavored fluoride rinse has changed my attitude about mouthwash.  This product IS for me.

I use this product every night before I go to bed.  It is much less harsh than most of the other Listerine or other mouthwash brands so it doesn't burn your mouth or make your eyes water.  I actually don't mind rinsing for 1 minute, unlike the other mouthwashs that I've tried where I can barely hold it in my mouth for 30 seconds.  I like that you don't need to use a seperate cup to pour the liquid in, it's right in the lid.  I also like that it has anticavity flouride.  It's not just about fighting bad breath, it's also helping to prevent cavaties.  I like the berry flavor as much as anything else that I've tried.  My daughter is only 3 so she doesn't use this yet, but (following the instructions) she will start once she turns 6.  I would recommend following all instructions on the back of the bottle, including not eating or drinking for 30 minutes after using the product.  This will ensure that the Listerine Smart Rinse works for you in the prevention of cavities.

  I thought that my kids could use a mouthwash of their own, so I bought Listerine Smart Rinse in the Berry Flavor. Listerine is a brand I trust so I had no problem picking out a brand. This is supposed to remove bacteria as well as freshen breath.   What this does is it tints any sort of food particles or bacteria left after bushing, so when you spit it out you see tinted items in the sink. For us, I guess we must be pretty good brushers because we don't have much of a tint in the sink afterwards. But, this is a good motivation to brush well.   This stuff is easily dispensed as well, you just squeeze the bottle and it automatically dispenses just the right amount then you can pour it into a cup. That way you don't dump half the bottle out trying to use it.   I don't particularly care for the taste, but my kids don't mind it at all, it is not a harsh taste so they don't complain. Overall this is a decent product, but it can be hard to find and also a tad on the expensive side. But it does work and it is a good motivator for kids to brush their teeth. I would be on the lookout for coupons when purchasing this though. But the bottle does last a good while since you only use 10 ml at a time.

We have been using Smart Rinse for about a year, after it was recommended by our dentist's office.  They didn't specifically recommend the brand, but some kind of rinse for kids.  I saw a coupon for Smart Rinse and decided to give it a try.  My kids use it once per day, at night, right after brushing their teeth.  They don't mind using it, even enjoy it, so the taste must be pretty good, since I don't need to remind them!  That alone says something.  My kids are 5 and 8.  I'm guessing smaller kids under 5 would need some help to keep from swallowing it - they might not be ready for that skill yet.  Both kids are cavity-free, so it seems to be helping.  :)  I'd recommend using this - the berry flavor we have tried and we have also tried the mint, which was good too.  It just helps a little bit to make sure everything was brushed away before going to bed for the night.  The only thing is that the sink is a little messy afterwards and while I don't need to remind them to use Smart Rinse, I do need to remind them to rinse out the sink.  :)

I am always worried about the health of my children's teeth.  It is so difficult to make sure that they are brushing their teeth perfectly and that their teeth are in good health.  I have to admit I was a bit skeptical to buying this since it was by Listerine and I know how harsh Listerine can be for adults when it comes to taste.  But, I decided to give it a try for my kids health.  I was really surprised at how much my children really love the taste of it.  It has a mild berry flavor and they really enjoy it!  It doesn't have too big of an aftertaste either. I think this product is well made and priced well for what you are getting- protection for your kids teeth and floride.  Where we live, we do not have floride in the water so this is HUGE to me.  I know it also comes in other flavors as well and that it comes in different size containers as well.  My kids like that I can purchase them the travel size as well for when we are away from home.  Overall, it is a great product that tastes good too!
