I love these - I literally love them enough to eat one every day for breakfast. I am not a breakfast person but I have learned that you have to start your day with something to get your metabolism going or you will have slow metabolism so I started making myself eat something first thing in the morning. It takes great and could not be quicker or easier!

Slim Fast Meal Bar - the chocolate chip cookie dough version - is absolutely delicious. This tastes like a chewy chocolate chip cookie which is covered with chocolate. It is irresistible - try just taking one bite. What is amazing is a product with such an AMAZING TASTE is laced with vitamins and minerals. It has a good level of protein and fiber - essentials for a healthy diet. I think it could be used as a meal replacement because for 200 calories my hunger was satisfied as well as my sweet tooth. But if you are used to having big breakfasts (eggs, bacon, the works) this may not be the meal replacement for you, but this is at least a great idea for a snack as it has kept me full for up to 3 hours (plenty of time from breakfast to lunch). I believe the price is very reasonable for the great taste and vitamins you get. Most food for people counting their calories (dare I say diet food) is NOT this good!

Although I'm not too much into weight-loss nutritional bars as such, I decided to try the SlimFast cookie dough bars and found them to be very tasty!  These bars have a very satisfying and delicious taste to them.  I have found that when I am wanting to snack on something, if I reach for one of these, I am not hungry again for a couple of hours.  I have tried other flavors from Slimfast since trying these, but I always come back to the cookie dough flavored ones!  I did go to the store last month and am unable to find this flavor anymore, so I am hoping that they have not discontinued this particular flavor as I would be very disappointed.  I would definitely recommend these SlimFast bars to anyone who wants a snack to tide them over to the next meal, or someone watching their weight.  I have not used these as a meal replacement, just as an in-between meal snack.  Very tasty and filing!!

My husband and I both LOVE these. It appears that Slim Fast has discontinued them, along with our other favorite, the chocolate brownie bars. I am hoping that Slim Fast will reconsider this decision - these bars are loved by many!!!

I am not surprised that of the many available Slimfast bars, just this one variety was singled out.  True confession - I have been addicted to them for almost 2 years now.  I think the taste is great and would happily replace a candy bar with a couple of these (have to admit that one is never enough).  Biggest problem for me is that I tend to binge on them!  As the warning on the packaging  states ..."excessive comsumption may cause diarhea", well I can attest to the fact that it is true so I happily combine it with a dose or 2 of Imodium.  I know this is a clear indication of OCD but I still love them and was just surprised to learn, as I wrote above, that this passion is over 2 years old for me and I still haven't tired of them.
