Too small for me, but great for someone who likes small cars

I purchased the 2007 ion and discovered that it was just too small for me... with my son's car seat installed, his legs were hitting the center console or back of chair. Great car- fits me to a "T"

My fun car broke down and I needed a car quick. My mom and I went to Saturn to check out the Aura and I ended up buying the Ion instead. If you've never purchased a car, let me tell you it can be very scary. It's a lot of money and often the sales people are pushy or aggresive. Not at Saturn, what you see is what you get. You don't have to worry about haggling or if you're getting a good price, all dealerships are the same, all you have to do is pick the car, color and options, it was that simple. I drive a 2004 Saturn Ion with all of the extras including XM radio. I love my Blue Saturn. It's fun to drive, my family of four fits comfortably in it, I can get my dogs in the car with me ( I have four dogs: 100 lb Black Lab, 30 lb Spaniel mix, 18 lb Tibetan Spaniel, and a 15 lb Cairn-Poo). I love my kids and my dogs and they go almost everywhere with me. I think it has awesome handling, good gas-mileage, and that it is one of the safest cars I have ever driven. I love my Saturn Ion. It gets very good gas mileage and is relatively immune to typical bangs and scratches.

One of my favorite features is the location of the instrument panel (middle of dashboard--odd, I know but it's terrific).

My car runs well and requires very little above normal care.

I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who is cost conscious, gas conscious, and a person not concerned with elaborate comfortable. I find my car comfortable but it is basic (cloth seats, manual seat adjustment, etc).

Unless the backseat is for pets or small children it is likely to be quite tight....

BEING A COLLEGE STUDENT THIS WAS MY FIRST NEWER CAR I HAVE BOUGHT. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. THE COLOR (CYPRESS GREEN) IS BEAUTIFUL - GREAT GAS MILAGE COMPARED TO MY FRIENDS CARS - GREAT DEALER WARRENTY - COMFORTABLE - EVERYTHING. I ESPECIALLY LOVE HOW THE ODOMETERS ARE IN THE CENTER OF THE DASHBOARD, I HAVE RECIEVED SO MANY POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THAT FROM PEOPLE I KNOW. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HARD TO GET USED TO, BUT IT WAS THE EASIEST THING EVER, IN FACT I THINK ALL CARS SHOULD DO THIS. OH AND I LOVE MY FACTORY SOUND SYSTEM - CAN WE SAY SWEETTTTTT? :)

I would never purchase anything other than a SATURN! This is my 2nd Ion and if it wweren't for the consturction of the Saturn, I would have lost my children in an automobile accident last year. THANK GOD for SATURN! If you are in the market in the OKC area, stop by Bob MOORE of OKC and visit with them.. they treat you like family there and always go above and beyond for their customers

I bought a 2004 Ion brand new with 38 miles on it right off the lot. In the first year it was in the shop atleast 10 times. Some of the problems they fixed but some I had to take back in for them to fix it again. This is such a horible car.
