It's Very Good Usb But it's Only 2GB . My Advice Use This Usb For Store Music

It is okay but a bit big for so little space. I have had this flash drive for a while and just recently got a new usb flash drive. I have found that this flash drive is big compared to the one I recently got. The new flash drives are so small that you wont even notice that they are in your computer. It hasn't failed on me yet but it does lack some features that new flash drives have. I like the ability to retract the usb part to protect it. 2gb is not a lot of room to hold much. I usually use this for small files. Sometimes it doesn't register to my computer. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. The design is a little out of date and feels cheap as it is made of plastic. I find this flash drive has held up amazingly over the years compared to other flash drives. I can depend on the flash drive with valuable data and things that I can afford to lose. Overall it works well but lacks some things other flash drives have.

My very first jump drive I ever bought NEARLY 10 years ago was a SanDisk jump drive. I STILL have it and use it a decade later with relatively no damage or wear and tear on it. The cases are strong and durable. The inside materials survived dropping, carrying, excessive use, and my cat who was hell bent on destroying them. I'm beyond pleased with the performance of this technology and am forever telling everyone that SanDisk is the product to get. Hands down I'd prefer a SanDisk Flash drive to any other kind of flash drive I've worked with.

I find this flash drive useful and quite easy to use. I have not run into any problems with it yet, and love that it comes with a retractable USB connector and a lanyard. This way, it is hard to damage and lose. It is also a really great price. I recommend this flash drive to everyone!

- The U3 technology allows for the use of PC software directly from the USB device.  Nothing gets installed to the PC.  It's like you were never on the machine. - You can carry encrypted or unencrypted information that is accessible from any PC that has a USB port. So far I have found over 50 free software programs that run directly from it such as FoxIt PDF Reader, WinZip, OpenOffice, EverNote, TeamViewer and Firefox to mention a few.  I have found information on converting existing PC software to U3 versions.  There is also a software development kit that allows you to create U3 software from scratch. - The word is out that the U3 software won't run under MS Vista. This is not the case.  After you connect the device to a PC, open My Computer then open the **U3 System** drive.  You must right-click the file **LaunchU3.exe** then select **Run as Administrator**.  Some newer versions of the U3 software will ask about scanning the device. Select **Don't Scan and Continue**. - Some folks don't care for the U3 stuff and prefer PortableApps instead. The U3 software is easy to delete from the device.

The SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro U3 Flash Drive is a great flash drive that is relatively cheap compared to other name brand flash drives out on the market today. I have had an easy time using it with both Windows XP and Windows 7 and have had no issues at all when using it. Though one issue I have with this flash drive would be the U3 Software that is pre-installed onto the device. While some people may like this software layer, I find it quite annoying, so I found myself just removing the software from the device which was relatively simple. Without the software, the flash drive works just fine as before so I have no real complaints. The slider design is also nice to keep the usb end from breaking off, but it can be difficult at times to put into a usb port.

If you are someone looking for a cheap USB flash drive and don't really care about the specs but just want portable storage for your files, then the SanDisk Cruzer is fit for you.  I love SanDisk products and have been using them for years.  They are always reliable.  This little flash drive is made of black plastic and has a slide out USB adapter.  This feature is convenient as opposed to have a cap for the adapter which often times can be lost.  When you slide out the USB adapter, the flash drive is about 2.5 inches.  You can also put this flash drive on a key chain if you'd like.  You can plug this into any computer and you are able to retrieve your files without downloading any special programs. The flip side is that there is a slow transfer speed.  But what can you expect, it is 2.0 after all.  3.0 won't be mainstream for awhile, and for a low price this flash drive isn't that bad.  I have this on me all the time when I am in class, just in case I need to save or open a file.  It has never failed me, and I will continue to use SanDisk products!

i got this drive for over an year and i have never had any trouble with it what so ever. This flash drive is unique because the part where you stick into the usb port can be hidden if not in use. I like this way of concealing the drive because i tend to lose the cap to the drive. This flash drive is great for homework and documents for any purpose. Sandisk is a really trsuted brand for flash drives. The only thing that i dont like about this drive is that the case around the drive is plastic. I like my electronics to be durable, for example a metal/titanium enclosure. Eventhough it is plastics, the case is still in perfect condition, just some scratches on the edges. I would love to buy another drive from this company that anyone can trust without worrying about this drive failing on you. Reliable and Good deal fits the category for this flash drive. There are also some bigger storage drives, but i believe this drive is the best for most people.

SanDisk 2BG Cruzer. It is actually not that bad when it comes to few files but it starts acting out when you put more than 1GB of files on it and try to load them up to your computer from it. When there are quite a few files on it, it sometimes is not recognized by a PC or freezes everything down and you have to restart the whole system just to make it work again. It has one more negative feature, it's the way you open it, it's a slider and there is a little handle using which you basically push the connecting part out. It looks handy at first but when you are trying to squeeze it into a usb port it slides back in and that's frustrating especially if you are trying to do that on a desktop with a USB port under a hardly accessible panel. In many desktops usb ports are under some weird angle and trying to access it even with a regular non-slider usb drive is hard. Moreover, because it is a slider and the "door" to the whole drive is always open and it can accumulate dust and be damages very easily. I had to get a special cap for it and keep slid out at all times. I would not recommend it for people with low patience and a lot of files.It also comes without any room to mark one specific usb drive for further identification. One side of is a handle to slide the usb out and the other side has a big sign sandisk on it. So you can't have more than one or you will keep mixing them up.

I've owned this flash drive for a year now.  I have most of the big names in flash drives, Sandisk, lexar, Kingston, Sony.  I really haven't had any problems with any of them.  Whatever is on sale, I will buy.  I use this particular drive to hold my music that I listen to on my car stereo.  With over 500 songs currently on the drive, I still have around 3/4  of unused space.  I like the retractable plug in and the Sandisk name.  I did have to erase the U3 software as it is incompatable with my car stereo, just go to their site to get removal instructions.
