My son has bought a couple computers and the first one he bought came with the Samsung SyncMaster 17 inch monitor. This is not the flat screen one but it works just fine. After he had to replace the first computer he did not want to replace the monitor because he said the one he had which was the Samsung SyncMaster 17 inch monitor was just fine. He has a small desk to work on and the Samsung SyncMaster 17 inch monitor along with his keyboard and hard-drive fit on the desk with just enough room for him to put papers or books that he needs to work with when he is on the computer. My other son has bought a larger monitor I think it is a 21 inch or maybe even a 25 inch but when I go to his house and use his computer I find that I don't like it as well as when I come back home and use my other sons Samsung SyncMaster 17 inch monitor that I am more used to. I find that I get lost using the bigger monitor.
