When I got the 6 quart size crock pot as a gift I thought it was going to be way too huge! Surprisingly enough I now can't imagine using one smaller. It is just the right size and shape to fit roasts, whole chickens, and other large pieces of meat. This model does not have anything super fancy but it gets the job done well. I have also learned to just use a Christmas light timer in my plug in if I want to delay the start of the crock pot. Works like a charm!

I am not a magnificant cook and sometimes I just feel like I don't want to be bothered with making Sunday lunch right after church, but I also don't want to go out to eat all the time. Crock pots are fabulous for this, and this crock pot is just wonderful. I love throwing a roast in it with some potatoes and just going about my way and letting it cook through till we're ready to eat it. The cleanup is really easy and the settings on it are convenient. That is the whole point of the slow cooker, is it not? Convenience and efficiency and functionality, and this crock pot hits all three! This is also an attractive crock pot to use for parties or fellowship meals at church, too! I would definitely recommend this crock pot to all of my family and friends.

I have owned other slow cookers in the past, but this one wins hands down. As a single mom with three young kids, crockpot meals are easy and quick and frequently end up on our menus. I love the large size of this model- it will hold meals to feed 7-8 people, but I as I often include vegetables with our pot roasts meals or something similar, the extra space is needed. My crockpot lives on my kitchen counter, so the fact that this model is totally gorgeous definetely helps! The stonewear crock is removeable (handy for pot luck suppers) and is dishwasher safe making clean up a breeze. Even handwashing (which is what I always do) is super easy, taking only minutes. There are three heat settings, a low, a high, and a warm. The warm setting is new to me, and is very handy. Sometimes the side dishes are not quite ready when the main course is done, so I like to set the heat down to warm, to prevent overcooking and getting cold! Overall, the crockpot is definetely worth the price, and would be great in any home.
